We have an 11 month Siberian Husky who loves to mouth/bite. We have been attending training classes, we are in our third class and on track to earn the AKC Canine Good Citizen. Over the three classes we have seen a decrease in unwanted behavior including biting and jumping. I strongly recommend training, especially in a class as that teaches the dog to socialize and learn acceptable ways to interact with their humans. Now when she comes up and acts like she's going to bite we say "easy lovin" and she immediately calms down and gives "kisses". We then are able to pet our dog without worrying about bites.
