This nutritionally complete, all-natural Lory nectar diet may be served dry, moistened, or as a nectar. Specifically designed to be fed to Lories as a maintenance diet, Roudybush Lory Nectar/Nectar 15 is also great for hand-feeding. Roudybush Lory Nectar/Nectar 15 is also lower in sugar than other brands of Lory nectars. This is particularly important for Lories, since they are prone to yeast infections due to the higher levels of sugar commonly present in their diets. Roudybush Lory Nectar/Nectar 15 contains no artificial colors.
When mixed with water, Roudybush Lory Nectar/Nectar 15 also makes a convenient liquid food for breeding hummingbirds and hand-rearing hummingbirds from 0-3 weeks of age.

Roudybush Lory Nectar
Directions: Roudybush Lory Nectar has been fed to a variety of Lories as a maintenance diet. It can be fed dry as it comes from the bag or as a nectar mixed with about 1 part dry nectar to about 3 parts water. The amount of water used can vary depending on the amount of nectar eaten and the amount of water in other foods in the Lory's diet. Change wet food and clean the feeding vessel at least twice a day. Discard wet nectar offered in the morning after 3-4 hours and renew food each evening for another 3-4 hours. During warm weather, change wet food every 2 hours. Dry food can remain in the feeder for days, providing it does not become contaminated with feces, dirt, or refuse, and providing it does not become wet. Discard wet or contaminated food and replace it with fresh, dry food. Provide clean, fresh water at all times.
Roudybush Lory Nectar can be fed in conjunction with a variety of other foods, including fruit, vegetables, treats, or Roudybush Maintenance Pellets. When enough Roudybush Maintenance Pellets are fed, droppings usually become more solid, eliminating the spraying of droppings that occurs in Lories fed Nectar exclusively. Do not feed vitamin or mineral supplements with this food. Store in a cool, dry place.
