||Effectively lowers and stabilizes pond pH level
||Ideal for concrete ponds where upward pH drifts are common
||Pond acid buffer contains no phosphate
Ideal for lowering pH in decorative concrete ponds where upward pH drifts are common. Pond Acid Buffer also helps dissolve some of the excess carbonates and bicarbonates in hard water, which helps effectively lower and stabilize pH. Since it uses no phosphate or phosphoric acid, it will not harm your pond's koi, goldfish, or other ornamental fish. For liner ponds that experience hard water conditions, use Acid Buffer in conjunction with
Pond pH Buffer. 2 L treats approximately 1,000 gallons.
Pond acid buffer is designed to lower pH in decorative ponds without the use of phosphate. It is ideal for use in concrete ponds where upwards pH drifts are common. Used as directed, it is fish and plant safe. It is not eutrophic and will not promote algae growth. It will lower pH but will not raise it.
Liquid: Add 500 mL (2 cups) of Pond Acid Buffer to each 250 gallons of pond water each day until target pH is reached. Add near a pump intake for optimum mixing and dispersion. 2 L treats approximately 1,000 gallons.
NOTE: Check pH after each dose. Never use in a non-concrete pond without also using Pond pH Buffer or a pH/KH test kit.
Use as needed to maintain pH. Concrete ponds will require more frequent use than liner ponds. Optimum pH for most ponds is between 7.2 and 7.8. This product will not raise pH. To raise pH, use Pond pH Buffer.
