(By weight using a standard 8 oz. measuring cup):
5-15 lbs feed 3/4 - 1 1/2 cups
16-30 lbs. feed 1 1/2 - 3 cups
31-50 lbs. feed 3 - 4 cups
51-75 lbs. feed 4 - 5 cups
76-100 lbs. feed 5 - 6 1/2 cups
Note: Feeding amounts may vary by breed, activity level, temperament and climate.
Puppies: Feed up to 2 times per pound of body weight over adult levels.
Pregnant females: Minimal increase needed during first 6 weeks. Weeks 7, 8, and 9 increase up to 25%.
Lactating females: Immediately after whelping, the nutritional demand increases by 50% compared to maintenance levels. Feed 3 equal meals per day.
