Lightweight and easy-to-install pet barrier for travelling dogs
Add vehicle safety without installing heavy metal dog barriers
Micro-mesh barrier keeps dogs out of car front/driver seat area
Forget cumbersome metal bar barriers - this is your lightweight alternative for pet vehicle safety. Solvit Front Seat Net Pet Barrier is the smart, lightweight pet barrier that enhances pet vehicle safety and keeps pets out of the front/driver area - without heavy lifting or tools. Micro-mesh barrier features adjustable nylon straps that allow fast and easy installation. Barrier keeps traveling dogs out of front car seat to reduce driver distraction and increase safety. See-through mesh does not obscure visibility and is guaranteed claw proof.
Pop-up wire frame keeps mesh taut during use yet allows barrier to fold down for convenient storage. Uninstall pet barrier and place in included storage pouch when you're not travelling with your dog to restore car aesthetics. The Solvit Front Seat Net Pet Barrier measures 32" x 32" and is designed for installation behind the front seat in all vehicles with headrests.
This barrier is designed for installation behind the front seat in all vehicles with headrests.
Warning: The mesh barrier is attached to a coiled metal frame which might pop open when removed from the pouch. Remove carefully in an open area. The storage pouch should contain the mesh barrier, two cinch straps and a 3-piece support rod.
To ease installation, consider raising each front seat head rest to clearly expose the metal headrest posts (they can be returned to their normal position after installation). Allow the mesh barrier to "pop" open to its natural, square shape. Assemble the three-piece support rod with the couple between the two straight sections. Insert one end of the support rod into the small pocket at the bottom edge of the barrier. While bending the support rod slightly, insert the other end into the pocket at the top edge of the barrier.
Attach the swivel hooks from each cinch strap onto one of the fabric loops sewn into the sides of the barrier. There are two loops on each side. Most vehicles will for best using the lower loops. With the support rod on the front seat side of the barrier, thread the cinch straps around the outer headrest posts and loop back through the cinch rings. Tighten each cinch strap so the barrier is centered between the two seats. If the barrier rides too low, consider changing the swivel hooks to the upper fabric loops.
Install the Sta-Put tube in the front passenger seat by pushing the plastic tube into the space between the seat back and seat bottom. Tighten the Sta-Put strap so the bottom edge of the barrier rests firmly against the back of the seats and/or console. It might be necessary to hold the Sta-Put tube in place when adjusting the strap. Tuck any extra strap material between the seat cushions. The Sta-Put tube can be removed with a strong tug but should stay in place under normal conditions.
Cleaning: Wipe with damp cloth or sponge and mild cleaner. Do not machine wash.
The Solvit Front Seat Net Pet Barrier keeps pets from "inviting" themselves into the front seat, thus reducing driver distraction and increasing safety. Patent-pending design uses a micro-mesh material which improves driver visibility and is guaranteed "claw-proof."
The netting is attached to a pop-up wire frame which keeps the net from sagging and makes it a snap to install/uninstall. A central support rod increases the nets' strength and a Sta-Put device helps hold the net firmly in place. Designed to fit all vehicles with headrests, from sedans to full-size SUVs. Comes complete with storage pouch.
