The high lift pressure of these direct drive pumps creates the ultimate in pond circulation and effective filtration. Direct drive operation means no magnets - rotor shaft extends through a waterproof seal, attaching directly to the impeller. These corrosion-resistant and energy efficient workhorses operate fully submersed, with easy to clean screen to protect motor from debris. All pumps are UL-Listed and include a 3-year manufacturer's warranty.

These workhorses provide enough power to effectively operate a water garden, statuary, or tabletop fountain. The dual discharge models (1900 and 4300) operate two water features at once while maintaining flow rate and pressure.
- Environmentally safe - no oil used
- Designed for continuous operation
- Epoxy encapsulated motors are watertight and thermally protected
- Screened intake keeps debris out better
- Corrosion resistant housing and cover prevent pond pollution
- Models 1900 and 4300 power two features simultaneously without loss of flow
Place pump fully submerged on a solid surface. Do not place on dirt or sand, but instead on a flat surface such as a brick or stone to prevent it from being clogged. Make sure volute is flooded before plugging the unit in, and make sure the power cord is in good condition with no nicks or cuts.
If less flow is desired, restrict the discharge flow. Never restrict the pump's intake.
Do not allow unit to operate dry. If the unit runs more than 2 to 3 minutes without pumping water, damage to the shaft will occur, voiding the warranty.
A clogged or dirty intake screen will greatly reduce performance. To clean the intake screen, first make sure the pump is unplugged from any power source. Following the manufacturer's recommendations, remove the intake screen. Then, clear all of the debris from intake and any other areas that need clearing. After clearing the debris for the screen, replace the intake screen.
These pumps have a 3-year manufacturer's warranty. Return of electrical equipment to Foster & Smith Aquatics for exchange or refund is limited to 60 days from the date of purchase. Beyond 60 days, electrical equipment is covered by the manufacturer's warranty and should be returned directly to the manufacturer.
