Zoo Med got the taste right my 10 year old female iguana loves it. She comes running when I shake the container and can't wait for it to be poured in her dish. She eats mainly fresh greens, veggies and fruit so the Zoo Med adult iguana food is a special treat. The ingredients are very good but as she will only eat it dry I do not feed it alone as she would not get enough water. I would certainly recommend it as part of an iguana diet.

I rescued a 15 yr old iguana that had been starved for months. He couldn't walk more then 2-3 ft with out passing out, he could barely eat. His teeth were gone. I purchased a Zoo Med Reptisun 5.0 light and their Iguana food as well as their vitamins. I feed him the Zoo Med as well as a mix of collard greens, waterkres, snap & snow peas, squash and a little fruit, as well as some other greens. It would normally take at least a year for his teeth to grow back, they were back in six months. I credit the Zoo Med food for his amazingly fast recovery. I only use the vitamins twice a month now since the Zoo Med food has everything he needs, as well as vitamins and probiotics. This is the only iguana food with no meat in it! I've owned over 30 reptiles in my life. DO NOT FEED IGUANAS MEAT!!!! They will grow fast but die very young (7-10 years, not the 20 or so yrs they should live). This stuff is the best! Do not even consider anything else! One point though, soak the food in clean water till it"s like thick oatmeal, Iguanas need a lot of water, I roll it in a collard leaf and he just eats the whole thing, some will eat it out of the bowl, some won"t. If you want a healthy iguana this food should be a large part of their diet!
