Offer caged birds a fun way to increase mental and physical exercise with fun foot toys that require a bit of "foot-eye" coordination. Birds use their feet like we use our hands: to grasp and manipulate objects, as well as gather important sensory information. Fun bird toys made from various textures and shapes help strengthen feet, develop motor skills and challenge the mind of your bird as it manipulates the varied shapes and textures.
String Ball's tightly woven palm leaf sphere is a delight to try and untie. String Ball may come colored as shown or in natural. Dumbbell exercises active feet and beaks with hookable nubs and nooks woven from palm leaf too. Triangle foot toy is an intricate puzzle holding a sisal, oyster shell and coconut kabob inside a colorful wood and cornhusk A-frame.

Experiment to discover the types of toys your bird finds the most interesting and challenging. Keep in mind that regardless of how intriguing the toy is, your bird will eventually tire of it. It is important to rotate the toys in your bird's cage on a regular basis and not to place too many toys in the cage at once, which may over-stimulate your bird and cause stress.
Cleaning Instructions: Toys should be cleaned weekly. Remove toys from cage and wash them with hot water and nontoxic soap or toy cleaner. For the wrapped toys, do not submerse the paper wrapping, but instead remove, wipe clean and set aside until toys pieces are dry. Rinse each toy thoroughly and allow it to dry completely before returning it to your bird's cage. It is a good idea to have two or more sets of toys so that clean, dry ones can be quickly placed back in the cage while the other set dries. Discard any toy that does not come clean, has loose parts, is frayed, or broken.
