Use with a timer for custom aquarium water movement
Provide beneficial water current in nano aquarium setups
Ultra mini powerhead boasts big aquarium features for nano setups. Hydor Pico Evo-Mag Circulation Pump offers a great new way to customize water movement in small nano aquarium systems. Enjoy adjustable flow rate and extreme versatile positioning without sacrificing valuable aquarium space.
Magnet-Suction cup base with articulating ball joint allows directional flow anywhere along a 360-degree axis. Enhance beneficial water current even in tight corners in your aquarium!
Connect the timer-controllable Evo-Mag Circulation Pump to a
timer (sold separately) for amazing custom water movement in your nano-reef aquarium! To transform the Evo-Mag Circulation Pump into a timer-controllable wavemaker, simply attach the
Hydor FLO Rotating Deflector (sold separately). The combined units generate wave-like currents that simulate natural ocean conditions in nano-reef aquariums with corals and invertebrates. Ideal for freshwater and saltwater nano aquariums. Mount onto aquarium glass up to 3/8" thick.
1-1/4" x 3-1/4" x 2-3/8" high
Please verify that all components of the pump are undamaged before putting it into function. Do not operate the pump completely out of water. Running the pump dry will cause structural damage to the rotor.
Maintenance Note: Regular cleaning and maintenance of the pump will guarantee better performance and durability. Before any kind of intervention, always disconnect the pump and any other submerged equipment from the electrical supply.
Detach the rotor chamber/flow control component from the pump body and then remove the rotor.
Clean the rotor and well with a soft brush.
Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water and reassemble components.
A crucial - and often overlooked - aspect of keeping a reef aquarium is water movement. Proper water movement goes a long way toward helping a reef system thrive. Corals and other reef inhabitants are accustomed to rapid, constant water movement.
