LintsMom My super picky cat loves these!
I have a cat who his entire life has refused to eat any type of cat food, only roasted chicken. Nothing else, no treats, canned food or dry. I was so concerned about him not getting his proper nutrition and needed something I could crush and mix in with his chicken (he cannot be pilled--no way, no how). He loves the Lifestage multivitamins. I never thought it would work but now I feel much better about his finicky diet. Lint & I are happy consumers.

1Nancy A must buy if you need to get meds into your kitty
I am better at reading reviews than writing them. This one deserves a review ,
Stetson , my 15 year old Himalayan has multiple health issues . This time it's his kidneys.Had to start him on Science Diet KD, he loves the dry food but not excited about the canned food . Since he takes pills daily for his heart and now I have started him on a powered kidney supplement. Caned food is the only way I can get these meds in him. I have also put him on a probiotic for a week. Adding all these meds into a small amount of canned food is doubtful that he eat it. Thank goodness I also ordered this vitamin chewable tablet to replace the tube of vitamins his vet wanted him to have daily . The first time I mixed the meds in his food , he smelled it, then sat down and just looked at the bowl . I easily ground up the vitamin and put in the food bowl. He ate it all so fast and licked the bowl! Since he takes meds am and pm, I started cutting the large tablet in half. This very favorable vitamin allows me to get all these meds in him with no stress on me and a real treat for my Stetson . Thank you Dr's Foster and Smith for a perfect product Please don't change anything with this product. I showed this to his vet today and shared this all with him. He was so happy to learn about this product and said he is going to research this to tell his patients with the same problems of getting meds in a kitty, we all know how difficult and stressful it is on them and us Hope this product is as helpful to you and your kitty as it is for my Stetson

My cat loves this vitamin! He seems to think it's a treat he gets every day.
Shadow was a cast out cat --- someone didn't want him and dumped him in our backyard. When taken in, he tested positive for FIV & deemed to be 3-4 yrs. old. Along with his liquid iron supplement, the vet. recommended a high quality multi-vitamin to stave off diseases that often attack FIV+ cats -- the vet. did check the list of ingredient for this supplement & agreed it would be a great fit for the cat and greatly improve his quality of life. Shadow has been on the Lifestages Select for about 4 yrs. now and has been very healthy and happy. When F&S had them on a 3mo. backorder, I had to get him a diff't multivitamin supplements and he wouldn't eat them at all.
My biggest issue with the vitamin is the stench.... It smells HORRIBLE! I mean, gag reflex engaged horrible (and my stomach isn't easily turned). I think the smell is the result of the fish oils used.... The other problem is the significant amt. of dust/residue inside each and every bottle. It scatters everywhere! That can be minimized by adding a wad of cotton on top of the vitamins and creating a pocket big enough for one pill to come out at a time. But it does nothing for the stomach turning smell.
Despite my issues with the vitamins, it doesn't dissuade me from purchasing them for Shadow. I just hold my breath when handling the pills ;) He's almost ten years old now and has had none of the illnesses which routinely plague FIV+ cats and I think that's due in large part to these supplements. Minor issues aside, these are high quality vitamins!
