Important: Do not plug in heater until instructed.
- Attach the suction cup (included) to the Mounting Bracket. Slide bracket over heater to position indicated.
- Place Neo-Therm Heater in aquarium by firmly pressing suction ends against wall surface. This ensures even heat distribution and optimum operation. No part of the heater housing should contact aquarium gravel, rocks or decorations.
- Wait at least 15 minutes before plugging in your heater. When first plugged in, the LEDs will circle and then stop and will display the set temperature with a solid LED and the tank temperature with a blinking LED. A slow blinking LED indicates tank temperature is below the set temperature. A fast blinking LED indicates tank temperature is above the set temperature. Single solid LED show tank and set temperatures are at the same point. Note: Before plugging in heater, create a drip loop to prevent water from reaching electrical receptacle.
- Select the desired temperature. Press button on top of heater. Each push will increase tank temperature by 2°F. When adjusting temperature, only one LED will be lit and will move from temperature to temperature with each push. When desired temperature is reached, wait a few seconds and LEDs will circle and stop on the new set temperature and display tank temperature. If you would like to lower the temperature, push button until temperature reaches maximum and with the next push, the temperature will cycle to lowest temp again. Keep pushing button until you reach desired temperature.
About Cobalt Aquatics
Cobalt Aquatics was established in April of 2011 by a leadership team with over 60 years of combined Aquatic Industry experience. The three hardcore fishgeeks; Les Wilson, a former research biologist and director of marketing for United Pet Group Aquatics, Viral Surati, a pioneering high end African cichlid importer, TFH magazine and United Pet Group key accounts manager, and Randy Parham, a founding member of the Marineland Aquarium Products sales team and national sales manager for United Pet Group Aquatics got together to form the company.
The mission was to create an aquatics company of their own, based on the values instilled in them by mentors of companies past and lessons learned from a lifetime of fishkeeping. Starting with a staff of the 3 owners and a line of probiotic enhanced flake foods made in the USA and a handful of equipment items made at a world renowned aquatics factory in Italy, Cobalt Aquatics' aim was to bring the highest quality products to market.
From those simple beginnings in 2011, Cobalt Aquatics now features a product mix of hundreds of items from flake food to frozen mysis shrimp, to the original MJ pumps, to award winning heaters and the innovative Egg Rockers.
With a worldwide supply chain including products and supplies from the USA, Italy, Poland, The Netherlands, South Korea and others, Cobalt has grown and now occupies a 20,000 square foot facility, and employs 10 warehouse and office staff, and 4 full time and 3 part time field and telesales sales reps and territory managers.
Les Wilson has been a featured speaker at the American Cichlid Association 2014 convention, Phillips Distribution open houses and national sales meetings, HH Backer's Total Pet Expo Aquatic Answers Expert, and regularly speaks at aquarium clubs all across the USA and even in Bermuda! Look for a member of the Cobalt Aquatics Team at aquarium conventions such as ACA show, MACNA, ReefaPalooza, MAX, Aquatic Experience, Catfishcon, NADA bi-annual discus show, and industry events Superzoo, Backer Total Pet Expo, Global Pet Expo, and distributor open houses throughout the year.
