Bird Bath

Does anyone make those white plastic bird baths any more? I had one for many years but it finally gave up the ghost. Now all the bird baths are very expensive and mostly made out of stone or other heavy material. I am on social security and those stone bird bathes are way out of my budget.
Besides which, I couldn't lift the top off to wash it out . Please help me with this.
By the way, I am only one of many seniors in our complex who feel this way. We all enjoy feeding our birds and want to let them have a bath once in a while. Thank you from all of us.

What type of birdbath is best and safe for birds?

I am looking to buy a birdbath. What are the best material for the making of birdbaths...stone, ceramic, metal, resin? Can they crack in winter or rust easily? I feel that the glass type birds could slip easily? Any suggestions? I appreciate your help. Thank you.

Thank you for your question. Which construction material you should choose for a birdbath is largely a matter of personal preference. Unless you have a bird bath that is heated, it is best to bring them in during the winter months.
