The Quilted Super Deluxe Bed is an amazing bed and my dog loves it! This bed gives my dog the support that he needs.

The moment the bed was out of the box my German Shepherd jumped on it and went to sleep! Finally a bed big enough for him to stretch out and provide the support he needs!

I just received the Quilted Super Deluxe Bed today and all I can say is I wish I'd have spent the money and gotten this bed about 3 dog beds ago! I can tell it will last a long time vs. the other beds I've purchased that are fiber-filled. This bed will not lose its form, and it's very comfy! I laid on it and it's very nice. I would recommend this bed to anyone who is looking for a long-lasting comfy bed for their dog. I have no doubt that it will be well worth the money spent!

This is not hyperbole, "Super Deluxe" is just the way to describe our dog bed. With a large Labrador and a Mastiff cross, I purchased the 36"x54" for them to share. Since they often sleep snuggled together, the size and shape is ideal. The quilting and piping show its quality and give it the appearance of fine furniture. The dark paisley is beautiful and fits our decor. The bed has been tested for over six months and the cover washes well. Its placement behind our pair of recliners proves its odor resistance (and solves the problem of what to do with that space needed by the chairs). The dogs enjoy being close to us while we're relaxing and visa versa. This bed is worth every penny! The most comfortable spot in the house and who deserves it more?

I have 2 Great Danes and 4 of these Quilted Super Deluxe Beds. They each have one in the bedroom and another in the living room. I tried other dog beds but they don't last. My dogs are too big and too heavy for the regular stuffing. Other beds start off soft but end up matting down to 1/4 inch after they have layed on them for a while... they looked like beach towels! The quality of the covers is a huge plus seeing how I have two of them in my living room (36 x 54) and the covers wash up great. I've had mine for 2 years and there is very little fading and they still look great. These beds really are worth the money if your looking for something thats going to last, especially with the larger breeds!

You get what you pay for. Even though this bed is expensive, it is much better than the other three beds we have bought for our dog. We have a rescued German Shepherd. She needs the kind of support this bed offers. We got the 36X54 and it is plenty big enough for our 80 lb dog. We could have gone smaller, but she has the option to really sprawl out if she wants. I expect this bed to last the rest of our dog's life.

I ordered two of these beds, my dogs love them and after three months of very large dogs the beds are holding up well and look terrific. My Mastiffs love them.

We got this for our 9 year old Lab/Pit Bull mix when he started having trouble getting up from the hard tile floor. We got this bed for him and just like that he was springing up again from lying down like when he was a pup. This bed is well worth the money and you will certainly see a difference in your dog movement, at least I did.

I purchased the rectangular 28 x 48 bed for my arthritic 70 pound Golden Retriever cross. The instructions said to let the bed "rise" for 24 hours as it arrives compacted. I put the bed aside in the living room planning to put it into the bedroom after rising. I heard a funny noise and much to my surprise, my dog was already laying on the bed- he loves it! My 2 comments are 1) I think I could have done with 1 size smaller even though he measured out to the size I purchased and 2) it would be nice if this were offered with a sheepskin cover. the fabric cover makes noise when he moves around at night. I solved the problem by covering it with one of his blankets. Great bed- I highly recommend it for anyone who has a dog that needs a strong orthopedic bed.

Yes, this bed is expensive when compared to other beds, but it is more than worth the money. We bought the bed for our 160 lb Dane and he loves it. I cannot get our Lab or our Dane off of the bed. We've had it for 4 months and it is just as thick as it was the day we received it. It's showing no signs of breaking down.

We bought the largest rectangle bed available and it was well worth the money!!! It is amazing. The quality is far superior to anything that the chain stores carry and the cover is thick and has had multiple washings without any fading, or tearing. We have a 70 lb Lab mix and she can sprawl out with no problem. The pad is more like a mattress than a dog bed and she loves sleeping on her bed now.

I have a 230 lbs. 6 year old male English Mastiff with arthritis and hip dysplasia and this bed has been a godsend! This bed is worth every last penny. After years and countless dollars down the drain on "orthopedic" beds for dogs that never hold up to his massive weight and flatten nearly 4-5 months after purchase, this bed has been amazing! In desperation, I even tried a human medical supply store for high density orthopedic mattress for a hospital bed and that too couldn't withstand his weight. The quilted cover washes beautifully and keeps the orthopedic foam clean and virtually odorless.

My Husky, weighing in at over 100 lbs, LOVES this bed! He hopped on it as soon as I pulled it out, as is the case with most of the dogs who've received this bed. He's beginning to show signs of stiffness and possibly arthritis and since we have hard wood floors throughout the entire house, I decided to invest in a bed that would support his achy joints. This bed is phenomenal and I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND it to anyone with any large breed of dog.

We are so glad we purchased the 35"x50" Quilted Super Deluxe Dog Bed. We purchased it to replace an old 35"x50" bed we had purchased at another store. The old bed was never as firm as this bed is or as durable. Our senior dog loves!

I ordered two of these beds, the 28" x 48" and the 36" x 52", for my Lab and Lab mix. I have gone through so many dog beds over the years (expensive ones, too!) that start to flatten and sag in the middle soon after the dogs start sleeping on them. These are thick, supportive, and retain their shape. Both dogs love them. I could sleep on them myself! I also wanted something that would be much more supportive for their joints in their senior years. I am very pleased with the quality of these beds. They are well worth the money. The Meadow print is lovely as well.

I've shared my home with Great Danes for almost 20 years now and with each new Dane comes a new bed. Drs. Foster and Smith is the only place I could find the size (30x50) and the quality of this bed is above all. When yout 170lb dog flops to the floor, the last thing you want is to hear that thump. I can tell you this bed will support your giant friend. It's easy to remove the cover and wash and it holds it color and shape. I wash my covers every month and they still look good. And we have never had problems with pressure callus especially the elbows.

This is a great bed! I have a Great Dane and needed something that could stand up to his weight. We have had this bed for 3 years and he loves it. I even bought a replacement cover to put on while the other is in the wash. Over all this is a great product that really can handle large breed dogs.

We bought one of the quilted deluxe dog beds for our chow mix who is geting older with stiff joints. She alternates between it, her sister's Foster and Smith deep slumber nest, her Foster and Smith deluxe orthopedic pad in the living room corner and the carpeted floor. This quilted deluxe bed is extremely well made and I can say, having tried it out, it's very comfortable to lounge on. I've been surprised that our dog hasn't completely stopped sleeping on the carpeted living room floor since this bed (50 inch round) is big enough for her 48 inch length to sprawl out on which she does when she sleeps. I have no doubt that as her arthritic pain increases she will find this bed a welcome place to rest. Our Harrier lounges on this bed sometimes and I'm planning to also use it for both of them to share on sunny days on the deck. The fabric is durable and the cover with it's piping looks like furniture compared to other beds. Well worth every penny.

I have two female Greyhounds who are 6 years old each. I have had Greyhounds for 15 years and have had many many types of beds. I bought two of these beds a few months ago for my girls. They are everything the advertisement states they are. The beds never ever sag. I have washed the covers a few times and dried them on low heat. They held up beautifully. Color held fast. I ordered the natural clove. They did pop to full thickness within an hour after I unpacked them. The girls sleep through the night and peaceful during the day. I got the largest size due to the fact that Greys like to stretccchhhhh out fully sometimes. LOL I have patronized Drs. F&S many times before and have been very pleased on all products and merchandise. Will continue to do so.

This is absolutely the best dog bed I have ever bought for my 130 lb. Great Dane and well worth every penny. I have had my dog bed for 5 years now and it is still in great shape. I would recommend this bed for any large breed dog. We even take the bed outside for him to sleep on! Thanks for such a great product.

We purchased the 36"x54" bed for our two great Danes. They both love the bed and sleep on it regularly. We have had it for about 8 months and it has not lost its shape, even though it is subjected to being used as a springboard by our 11 month great Dane puppy. My 10 year old great Dane, who has some arthritis in her hips, loves stretching out and sleeping for hours on it! It's not just for the big girls, though, our Beagle and Mini Daschund also love sleeping right in the middle of it and manage to take up the whole thing!! A great bed!!

I ordered the first bed, and a round bed was sent instead of the rectangular one. The company immediately sent the information to return the bed and two days later I received the bed I had origianlly ordered. I ended up keeping both beds, one for upstairs and one for downstairs, because our grey loved them so much. They give him the support he needs because of his injuries. I just wish I would have purchased them months ago - I would have actually saved money!!

Well, this is the 2nd Super Deluxe Dog Bed that we have bought. I was forced to buy a second one because are dogs are fighting over it. We have three Chesapeak Bay Retrievers in the house. I can't say enough about this bed. We have a 14yr old dog that is having some problems with her back legs due to age (stiffness etc). She loves it. The bed is firm but, yet super comfortable for her and is easy for her to stand on and get out of. When we first looked at this bed, my husband and I thought oh.. it is just way too much money to spend on a dog bed. But after we added it up we have spent well over the amount that this bed cost on numerous other beds over the years. Two thumbs up.......

I purchased this bed for my 13 year old Australian Shepherd/Border Collie mix named Casper. He LOVES it. I have purchased many beds from Drs. Foster and Smith, and currently, my dog has four throughout the house. This particular bed is very well made (thickness and quality) unlike the other orthopedic beds sold by other companies. It's interesting that the bed was compressed for shipping, and once taken out of the vacuum sealed package, the bed slowly expands to its normal size. The bed is very thick and so comfortable. I highly recommend it.

I love, love, LOVE this dog bed and so does my 95 lb. golden retriever, Chance, and his cat brothers and sisters. I purchased the largest bed available and there is room for them all to snuggle. My only complaint ~ I wish there was a waterproof liner to purchase for this bed. Otherwise, money well spent.

We've been looking for a good bed for our dogs and finally we have found it! We just received the Rectangle, 35" x 50", 9N-35778. It looks like a small mattress on the website which is what we wanted. It wasn't quite a mattress but it comes very close!!! I was concerned when it arrived in a box I thought too small for the "mattress". It was vacuum packed and expanded nicely.

Things we like most are 1) it is in fact like a mattress 2) the dark color (natural clove) won't show any stains 3) finally a material our dogs won't ruin by digging into a comfy spot (unlike sheepskin) 4) more than larger enough for a 100lb Rottie and 5) the sale price of $133.99; originally $200 - awesome. We will be ordering a second at this price!

Just a suggestion or tip... We suggest making and selling a "waterproof" cover for the foam core. Our one dog tends to "leak" severely at times and we want to make sure the core is kept clean. The shell can be washed at any time. So what we did was take the plastic it came it and wrap the core to make it "waterproof". The bed sounds a little funny but the dogs don't care and it protects the investment! Thanks for finally offering a great product at a great price!

My Chocolate Lab is about to turn 6 yrs. old and I after buying him a few "so-so" quality beds from my local pet store over the years I decided to treat him to your Quilted Super Deluxe bed with his name "Peyton" monogrammed on it. Let me say it plainly...This bed is awesome! He weighs 90lbs yet doesn't even make a dent in this bed when he lays down. Well worth the cost, everyone.

This bed arrived about 30 minutes ago from Drs. F&S. I ordered it for my 11 year old Doberman. He got on it immediately and passed out. He's been asleep on it ever since which is rare because he normally follows my every move. He has arthritis, spondylosis, and is currently in rehab to strengthen his leg muscles. Glad to have purchased another quality product for my dobie!!!

This is a great bed for dogs with joint and bone problems. My Labrador had surgery on all of her legs to help correct/minimize dysplasia. I did a lot of research on orthopedic dog beds, because I wanted a non-medicated way to help relieve pain and stress on her legs. Most of the orthopedic beds were limited in color and had a whitish material on top for the dog to lie on. The last thing I wanted was a white topped dog bed that would quickly and forever appear dirty despite washing.

With the Quilted Super Deluxe Dog Bed, our dog has a durable bed that meets her needs and blends with our furnishings. I expect this bed to last more than a couple of years because of the quality of foam, fabric, and workmanship. It's probably a thicker, firmer mattress than what you would find in most human children's cribs. I'm grateful she is moving much easier and the use of medication is less. She loves her bed!

I recently bought the 35 X 50 dog bed for my large Golden Retriever. I should have spent the money years ago and several dog beds ago. You definitely get what you pay for and this bed really is deluxe. As soon as I took it out of the vacuum packed plastic bag, it fluffed right up and looked perfect. I barely had a chance to get it on the floor before my dog jumped on it. She loves it. Whenever I don't see her now, it is because she is spread out on this amazing bed. I plan to buy another one for upstairs.

Do yourself and your dog a huge favor, pay the extra money and get a dog bed your dog will love and that you won't have to replace anytime soon.

I can't say enough about this bed. We have purchased MANY dog beds for our two Great Danes, and this one surpasses them all ten times over! It was a last ditch effort to find a bed that works for our dogs and I'm so glad we tried it! It is in FANTASTIC shape and hasn't flattened at all - even when all 310 pounds of dog is on it at once, it still fluffs right back up! The cover washes wonderfully and goes right back on and fits great! Will be buying another soon!

This is a great bed. I have the large circle and rectangle for my golden. We bought it after my 10 year old golden had surgery on her hind legs. The bed is very comfortable even for people! Since she has trouble getting up on the furniture, I will get down on the bed with her so we can still snuggle. The beds are so large that my 1 year old golden can also get on it with her. It's a great place for them to sleep, play and chew their bones. The covers hold up great in the wash, although I did invest in spares so they can still use the beds while the others are in the wash. We have had them for three years and couldn't be happier.

I have two great danes as well (as a previous poster did) and I have to admit, these do the job well. I've had one of them for two years now, and the other for a little over a year. I believe my only real problem with the bed is the fact that it takes me quite some time (and cursing) to get the covers back on after a wash. However, the dogs have beaten these beds to death and they still seem to be holding up VERY well. If it means my frustration for twenty minutes or so every time I wash the covers, well.. I'd rather have them be happily comfortable than not. They DO love the beds. They cushion the joints well and flawlessly take their shape back again and again. I recommend these-just keep in mind the anger you're going to have with that cover.

I can't say enough good things about this bed & Drs. Foster & Smith. I had actually purchased a different one from Drs. Foster & Smith which I didn't like at all....I was extremely happy when they returned that one without question, I then purchased this bed! My dogs might be considered large! I have 2 Great Danes: a 230 lb male & a little 140 lb female. This bed was purchased for my little girl but my male continues to chase her off of it & claim it for himself. They're both too long for it, but that's understandable....there is no single bed that either of them fit. My male has a $279+ orthropedic bed from another company but he prefers the Super Deluxe Bed from Drs, Fosters & Smith. It might be the location or male dominance but I doubt it. Anyway you look at it, my dogs are happy with their new beds.

We ordered the largest rectangle bed for our 110 lb Black Lab mix with arthritis. It looks so much more like a mattress with the quilted top (like a crib mattress), and surprised that there is not more foam inside v. egg crate - it is stiff. But that may be what our boy needs. He sleeps on it 50% of the time. But I feel better he has such a solid bed - he won't be able to smoosh this one flat!
