Heavywieght
I've used the plastic reptile dishes but they are light and snakes easily move them, but these are deep, heavy and even a good size snake or lizard may slide it, but has less of a chance of flipping it. the natural rock appearance and texture looks great with any naturalistic terrarium set up. only complaint is you almost need a dish brush to clean the crevices but it can be done. all in all it's well worth it.

This is a very durable dish.
I bought the dish for my 20 year old Red Footed Tortious. I like that the dish is heavy so he can't tip it over & the depth of it is perfect for him he can get in &out fine. The only problem I have with it is that I wish it was a little bigger & wide so he can soak his hole body in it instead of half at time.

Was OK for couple hours
Pros: It's low profile makes it easy for my gecko to drink from and I don't have to worry about him knocking it over. The small size will go dry every couple days forcing you to clean it like you're supposed to instead of letting it go for days at a time.
Cons: The dish looked nice in the picture but didn't even last until I got to use it once. All the color came off when I rinsed it before using it. I wasn't scrubbing hard or using harsh detergents. The two sides are different length so you can't line up two of them side by side evenly. Kind of pricey for a plain tan dish when the color rinses right off.
