Feeder Care:
To clean, empty out remaining nectar and debris. Wash using warm, soapy water. (Use a mild liquid soap, no harsh detergents, abrasives, or bleaches.) Use a small bottle brush to clean inside the nectar tube and to tackle any stuck-on messes. Rinse thoroughly with warm water and allow to dry completely before refilling.

This is absolutely the best hummingbird feeder. It is easy to clean, easy to fill, and the perch provides a means of watching the birds at rest, even preening their tiny bodies. The glass bottle fits a standard soda bottle cap, so you can wash and fill the bottle, cap it, and easily carry it out to your garden. I have purchased many feeders and this one is just the best. I have 4 and will continue to repaint and refresh them for years to come.
As nectar feeders with extremely high metabolisms, hummingbirds are in constant search of the right type of flowers and small insects to provide the energy they need.
Averaging only 3.5 inches head to tail, Hummingbirds are the world's smallest birds. Not only are they beautifully adorned with iridescent plumage, they also perform near-mythic flying abilities.
