Pet training mat prevents dogs and cats from exploring off-limits areas
*
Great tool for training puppies and kittens to respect boundaries that you set
*
Create pet-free zones without the use of alarms or electricity
The innovative X-Mat is a great tool to use with your pets to train them where they are, and are not, allowed. Raised bumps are uncomfortable to sensitive paws, so the training mat can be used to cause your cat or dog to respect the boundaries you establish. Use on or around counters, on beds, tables, plants, or in doorways. No electricity needed to establish restricted places in your home. Your pet will remember the experience and will avoid the area even after the mat is removed. Clean mat with mild soap and water and air dry. 18" x 18" x 1/2" high. Folds up to 9" x 18".

X-Mats really do work! My dog (a 50-pound Shepherd Mix) wouldn't even wait until I was in my car before jumping on the sofa or my bed. There was nothing I could put on these areas that she wouldn't just pull off. X-Mats are a quick and easy way to keep my furniture and bed comforter in good condition.
Believe it or not, this simple item was the perfect solution to keep our 2 Doberman Pinschers off of our Lazyboy Chairs. We also got the Sofa Scram for our couch and we haven't had any dogs on our furniture for the last 2 weeks! Wish I would have found these a long time ago!
I have a tenacious black lab that loves his comforts and would jump up on my couch without any hesitation. The X-Mat has saved my furniture! He no longer jumps on the couch and the X-Mats fold up and travel with me whenever I visit my family so that I can protect their furniture, too.
I bought these mats with the hope it would keep my 1 year old Puggle off the dining room chairs and off the dining table. They seemed to do the trick for the first couple of weeks but then I started finding him jumping up on them and onto the table. I have no doubt these work on my dogs because if you sit on them, which is something I accidentally started to do, they hurt. Either my Puggle has no feeling on the pads of his paws or his determination to get up on the table is greater then the pain.
Before purchasing X-Mats, I would put chairs on my couches so that our Yellow Lab would not jump up on them. When a friend told me about X-Mats, I couldn't wait to try them. They worked immediately and now my Lab has learned how to love her own bed again! X-Mates are a quick, inexpensive way to solve jumping up problems.
These work! My agile Bichon Frise jumped up in a new recliner once, and hit the floor immediately. The rest of the video training recommendations are being followed, but haven't seemed to be necessary: She got the idea right away.
Rooms and surfaces can have gates or barriers to let your pets know these areas are "off limits." Frequent questions are answered to help you decide which is best for your situation.
