I am so excited about my new Steel Mealworm Feeder! Today, is cold in the Midwest. It's March 4th 2008, and I had been wanting to expand feeders for my little Easter Bluebirds thius coming spring. Well, I only have one other feeder, the kind that has a hole in the side and the bird has to enter to eat. It works, but only by hit or miss, that is, if the bluebirdies want to enter to eat the worms. I wanted something that would be a for sure shoe in. I ventured out to try this new open steel feeder. So to make sure I have a definite attraction for them, I placed this feeder on a pole that is about 1 foot from their house as an experiment. Within 2 days, I looked out, one frosty March morning, and there they were, male and female one entering the house and the other perched on the feeder. I WAS SOOOO EXCITED. It worked. Then I remembered I had another house in the backyard, and to my dismay, I forgot to order a second steel blue feeder, ughhhhh! It's a great little purchase, and I could not be happier. And what a great perch to takephotographs!! This feeders color is as brillant as the bird itself!! Get yours today, and watch the little ones flock to your yard...I can hardly wait until spring and watch the babies perch on the feeder!! |
