Safety Note: The Aquaball Powerhead pump must be positioned beneath the water surface and must not be allowed to dry.
Installation
- Attach the Air Hose to the Connection Adapter and gently secure onto the outlet. Attach the Intake Strainer to the Aquaball.
- Secure Suction Cups to the Aquaball Holder and mount to the inside of the aquarium. Clip the Aquaball into place.
Operation
- Position the Aquaball Powerhead so it is placed just beneath the surface of the water. Adjust the position to the desired outflow area and surface angle.
- Turn the Flow Regulator to adjust the flow rate to desired level. The Air Control Valve is used to regulate the amount of oxygen added to the water.
Maintenance
- Disconnect power to the Aquaball. Gently remove Aquaball from the Holder.
- Remove the Intake Strainer and the Pump Cover to take out the Impeller and Bearing Cartridge.
- Clean all parts. Use a cleaning brush to clean pump inlet and outlet.
- Re-fit the Impeller, making sure the Bearing Cartridge is fitted properly. Close the Pump Cover and attach the Intake Strainer.
General Information
The Eheim Aquaball ensures reliable water movement of aquarium water, specific water surface movement, and controllable oxygen supply.
Thanks to the pivoting pump head, it is possible to adjust the outflow direction and surface angles as required.
The flow regulator allows the flow rate to be adjusted to the desired settings and thanks to the air diffuser, it is also possible to regulate the amount of air added to the water. The practical Aquaball Holder allows convenient installation and removal for maintenance.
