Should I give my dog treats? You don't have to give your dog treats, but we DO recommend it. Treats help reinforce the special bond between you and your dog and are a good way to reinforce positive behavior. Treats are also a definite help during training.

Being in the grooming business, with our own family of cats and dogs, we have bought every dog treat known to man. This product drives them absolutely nuts! Our cats go wild for them too, Make sure and hide the container where they can't find it!!! |

My dog's absolute favorite. He will do anything for one of these. He had developed a habit of ignoring me when he didn't want to "come" or "sit" or whatever. I give him one of these when he obeys but only sometimes. Now he is alert, attentive, and obedient (also hoping to get a treat). He follows "soft spoken" commands the first time. He even "pottys" on command and quickly so he can get back to the house for a liver snax. Also, since my dog is a "toy," I snip these into tiny pieces with my pruning shears so they are more his size (not that he won't readily eat the larger pieces!) and last longer for training. |

I had originally purchaced this product because I was starting puppy classes. It made training incredibly easy! My Coyote/Rott mix loves these treats. My 2 cats also love your Liver Snax, they just about take my fingers off. Finally I have found ONE treat that they all love that is good for them too. THANK YOU!! |

This is my dog's favorite treat! Our doggy daycare provider told us about these after we noticed that Skipper would immediately run into the facility, sit and wag his tail, or bark and wag his tail, waiting for his treat! Now, all I have to do is say the word "treat" and he goes bonkers, running to the pantry! They are the best training aid we've used - all he has to do is know it's in my hand and he immediately performs the command! Skipper gives this wholesome, flavorful treat four paws. |

It's made of very high quality and I've never met a dog that didn't go ape over it. Cats love it, too. It's low fat, no carbs - just pure high grade food. It's soft making it easy to break up into small pieces and also crumbles easily to sprinkle over food for those picky eaters. I walk dogs for a living so trust me when I say, I have given this product a thorough test drive. Only caution: don't be overly generous with this product at first. Giving more than the recommended amount can cause diarrhea! |

Our 2 year old Akita has colitis (& deaf) & we have to be very careful. (Don't let your vet give flagyl to a nursing mother, as 4 of 6 pups deaf or other issues, but smart & in great homes). He loves these and they don't upset his sensative GI system. We also use one of them as "sprinkles" crushing them on top of his Tylan and Metamucil slurry to increase his interest. |

My German Shepherd was thin as a rail and would only eat about every other day. He also would not take any treats, which meant training him was very difficult. Now we crush some of the LiverSnax over his food and he eats every time. He also comes running to his crate and does tricks for me when I pull one of these out. |
