I have 3 Miniature Schnauzers. My youngest male was given to me at 7 months old with a bag of sensative stomach dog food. I tried unsuccessfully to switch him to other foods. As I was ready to switch him to adult food, a friend recommended Drs. Foster and Smith dog food. I was not only able to switch him successfully with no upset, but all 3 dogs have never looked better. I believe that their energy levels are better too. |

My dogs really enjoy this food. No more adding gravy or bacon fat to get them to eat. The best part is it is shipped to my door. |

My Pit Bull mix has had diarrhea, skin, and allergy problems since she was a puppy. Over the past 3 years, I have spent thousands of dollars on vet bills for these ongoing problems. Every vet that I take her to puts her on prescription diet food which is very expensive and it never completely helps her situation. I finally researched her prescription dog food more thoroughly and found that it has additives in it that are actually carcinogenic! The food itself is not all natural either which led me to question the health benefits of it as well. I also read enough information about all natural dog food without by-products and without additives to consider a food transition for my doggie. After recently transitioning her diet to the chicken and brown rice formula, she has already began improving in overall health. She has not had even one case of diarrhea since she has been eating this food either. I am certain that I will be able to continue feeding my hypersensitive dog this food which she enjoys a great deal. This is the first time that she has ever been so excited about meal time! Thanks Drs. Foster and Smith for making a great product! |

I recently adopted a 3 yr old Cocker Spaniel. I put him on what I considered quality dog food that I had my Rottweiler on for years. My Cocker started vomiting about 6 hours after eating - the food was not digesting. First it was once a week - then it became more frequent. I took him to the vet and when I told him what brand I used he immediately said "switch him" - apparently that brand of dog food is known not to digest in some dogs. Luckily I had received my Drs. Foster and Smith dog food the day before as a friend had recommended it. We are now on week #2 and no more vomiting ! Thank you Drs. Foster & Smith!! My vet has had no one apparently use Drs. Foster & Smith, so he is very interested in the outcome and he will shortly know how good the results are! |

I purchased a show quality Rottweiler from a well known ethical breeder. I had already given up on my pup since he looked more like a Doberman, except that he has a nice Rottie head . I decided to give Drs. Foster and Smith dog food a try. To my surprise, three months later my pup looks like a top quality show male. I plan to start showing him this fall. I am glad that I decided to give Drs. Foster and Smith dog food a try. |

In the past, my dog Fred would only eat his food if I added real chicken and rice to it. I knew there had to be a better way than all the trouble I was going through. I ordered Drs. Foster & Smith Chicken & Brown Rice Formula adult dry dog food and Fred gobbled it down. As recommended, I mixed the new food with the old to "break him in" slowly, but Fred ate around the old and ate only the new Drs. Foster & Smith food. I am so pleased! Now Fred gobbles down his food and I don't have to add anything to it. Now I have time to pamper my family instead of Fred. |

I have tried at least 10 types of food to find a quality food that my dog would eat. I was about to give up and stick with the grocery store brand. I decided to try the Drs. Foster & Smith Dry Adult Chicken & Brown Rice Formula. My dog loves the food and it meets all the criteria I was looking for. The food is quality food with no by-products and the pieces are a perfect size. Thanks at last! |

My dog Buddy (Chihuahua/Chiwawa), loves the Chicken and Brown Rice. I had been looking for a dry dog food that he likes, especially small bite size for small dogs. He loves Drs. Foster & Smith's Chicken and Brown Rice formula, and the smaller sizes. In fact after feeding him a small amount, the bag was setting on the kitchen counter, and he sat-up and "whined and barked" for some more. He gobbles it up!! Very pleased with the product. Buddy sends his compliments to the chef. |

I have a very finicky Mastiff. It took us three different brands of dog food to figure out what we want for him and of course what HE wants. I always had to mix his dry food with some chicken or cheese or tuna, and even then he took a few licks and that was it. I was getting worried because he wasn't gaining enough weight. I ordered Drs. Foster & Smith Chicken and Brown Rice and when it arrived I was surprised how small the nibblets were. I gave him a handfull in front of his nose and he immediately started eating them. This was unheard of before. He actually prefers his food to be smaller, I still put some ricotta cheese in his food mix with water to release the aroma, but nothing like before. Thank you Drs. Foster & Smith! |

My Pit Bull/Red Heeler has been eating Drs. Foster & Smith food for about two months now and I can already notice a BIG difference in her coat. It has become very shiny, soft and thick. She possesses big muscles from her Pit Bull dad and tons of energy from her Red Heeler mom and this food feeds both her muscles and energy. She has become cut and lean and her energy is incredible. She is just a really healthy dog. The best part is that she really enjoys this food. |

My mixed-breed dog, Dodge, had been living on prescription food for some time now since he developed an intolerance to the commercial food found in stores. I felt uneasy having him on the prescription food for so long and decided to try Drs. Foster & Smith Chicken & Brown Rice Formula. Dodge loves it! And better yet, he has had NO ADVERSE REACTIONS TO IT!!! I am so pleased he is eating something wholesome as well as a brand I know I can trust! And...I have noticed his coat is so soft and clean! I don't think I will need to give him baths throughout the summer now, because he no longer has that "odor" he tends to get when the weather turns warm! Thank you for another quality product! |

My 2yr old westie was a very sick puppy, which has resulted in a very sensitive stomach. We have tried the "healthy" foods and she just didn't seem satisfied with any of them. The worst part was she would throw up everyday. I stumbled on to the Chicken & Brown Rice Formula and decided to try it. She hasn't thrown up since!! She used to pick at the other foods, but not this stuff. She doesn't leave a crumb. This is a great product!! Thank you Drs. Foster and Smith!!!! |

My papillon, Linda, was diagnosed with cancer in 2004. The main symptom we had before the diagnosis was a complete refusal to eat anything, even hamburger or other 'people' food. We tried everything and eventually found Drs. Foster and Smith dog food. The kibbles are small enough for a very small breed to easily eat and apparently it is very tasty because she ate it! And she kept eating it for 2 years. I am completely convinced that this healthy, tasty food gave me two and a half more precious years with Linda. Moreover, since she and my two new dogs were eating it, rather than the other brand I had been feeding them that was involved in the recall, all my pets were safe from tainted foods. I will never feed my dogs anything else. |

A few months ago we adopted a large mixed breed dog. He was very skinny and had the worst shedding problem I had ever seen. I tried other quality brand dog foods, but was not seeing an improvement. A friend recommended this website, so I decided to purchase some food. It has been just over a month now since he (and all my other dogs) have been on this food, and the difference is amazing! He's put on weight and looks full and healthy. He's far more energetic than he was in the past, and his shedding has almost completely stopped! (He is a long haired dog though, so there is some shedding.) All of my pets (including birds, rats and hamster) are now switched to Drs. Foster and Smith food, and I plan on keeping it that way! I would highly recommend this food to anyone that is looking for a high quality food to feed their pets. |

We have always tried to provide our dogs and cats with good nutrition. Despite trying numerous premium products, our half Shih Tzu half toy poodle mix always had a very dull, lifeless coat. 2 of my elderly cats matted horribly. We just recently started feeding the chicken and rice adult dog food and cat food. In about 6 weeks' time the changes in our pets' coats is dramatic. Boomer, our Shihpoo, now has a soft and shiny coat. The cats have never had such glorious coats. Our golden retriever now has a full, lush coat that glistens. Thank you for producing such a wonderful product. |

My dog (a Brussels Griffon) is extremely finicky, and we went through several brands of dog foods to find one she would eat. Even then we had to mix it with canned dog food in order to get her to even touch the stuff. I hesitated to buy Dr Foster & Smith dogfood, because they did not offer a trial size "taste test" package and I figured it would be a waste of money for a 6 lb bag. I would only need a handful to know that my dog would not eat it. Boy was I wrong! This is the ONLY brand of dog food that my dog will eat DRY. I still mix it with chicken or canned foods to make special meals, but I can leave a bowl of dry food down for self feeding. Amazing! |

Our lab/weimaraner mix was having diarrhea with several different brands of dog food so we tried Drs. Foster and Smith Chicken & Rice formula. He has been on it for a month and has had no more diarrhea and seems to like it much better than the other foods. We also have a ferret that we switched to Drs. Foster & Smith food. He really likes it and his stools are much firmer than with other commercial brands. |

My dog had started getting sick every couple days. I took him to the vet and nothing was wrong. They suggested a change in dog food. Frantic about the info that we have been given lately concerning dog foods, I looked to Drs. Foster & Smith. Their food had the best ingredients and actually contained meat. My dog loved it and turned around very quickly with his digestive issues. My 5-year-old boy has lost weight and now plays and runs like a pup again. He feels great...you can just see it in him. Quite a different dog from before the change in food. Sure, you're going to pay a little more with this food, but I highly recommend it. It's worth it! |

I have a one year old Cocker Spaniel. A few months ago, I came across information concerning byproducts in dog food. It prompted me to research the "good" food I was feeding him. I quickly learned what I thought was good food, wasn't in the least, even though the company would like me to believe so. I then went on a search to find the best possible food for my guy. We switched to Drs. Foster & Smith Chicken and Brown Rice formula and he is doing great! I couldn't be more pleased with the quality of food. I showed my sister the ingredient list and even she was stunned by all the wonderful things in it. I would never consider switching him to any other food. Finally he is on a food I can feel great giving him and one that he loves as well. |

I have raised 11 Pomeraneans over the last 10 years, so you know I have been through different foods trying to find the one they will eat. They will eat the food for awhile and then they don't want it anymore. They have been put on the best food, such as, Iams and Science Diet, and have also been fed Kibbles and Bits. They are very picky eaters. Chicken and vegetables is their favorite and I have found it very hard to find that particular flavor. I couldn't find it anymore after awhile. The makers of dog food would either baste or roast the kibbles and they didn't like it. Now, I am down to 3 adult Pomeraneans. I thought, oh boy, Doctors Foster and Smith has just what I have been looking for. Chicken and vegetables. Perfect! So, I bought a small bag just to see if they liked it. They love it! I don't have a problem getting them to eat now. |

My 4 years old dog, Pom and Maltese mix, loves this dry food. We used to feed her a store brand dry food, but she was tired of it and didn't eat it much. After we changed to Chicken & Brown Rice dry food, she never gets tired of it. Thank you for providing a great food! |

Our dog was having issues with diarrhea with the original food she was eating as the company changed their formula. We tried several other brands with no improvement. Someone recommended this food to us as they had the same issue with their dog. We ordered it, tried her on it and there have been no issues since! Thanks! |

Our 7-year old Labrador developed a tumor last year. After a successful surgery, we decided to try a more "holistic" diet for her. This food is the BEST. The flax seed helps to prevent inflammation and it's chock-full of fruits and veggies. Our dog has never been healthier and we constantly get comments on how beautiful her coat is. I recommend this food to everyone! |

I have two Basset Hounds, both rescues, and one has digestion problems. three years ago I actually had to cook chicken rice and green beans for him, just to keep him from vomiting his food. After trying Drs Foster & Smith Chicken and Rice formula, I won't give them anything else. I no longer have to cook for Jack, and Molly loves it too. The best part is, we had it shipped to our door in California and then two years ago relocated to central New York and it still arrives at my door. I have recommended it to my neighbor and gave her a gallon size storage bag to try with her dog, and she is now ordering as well. I truly feel this a very high quality food for the canine persuasion, and would never switch now. Thank you so much for your product. |
