Walnuts

Nuts are in the shell so your bird has to work to get the scrumptious meats out. A great solution to boredom - he can work on these for a long time! All of our nuts make a great addition to your bird's daily diet. Combined with plenty of fruits, vegetables, and an appropriate commercial diet, nuts can round out a balanced diet. All of our nuts are unsalted.

Walnuts require a strong beak to crack; picking out the delectable meats adds even more appeal to keep your bird occupied.

Feeding Directions: Feed as a snack, treat, or hand-held reward. Total amount of treats fed should not exceed 10% of the bird's daily caloric intake, unless directed by your veterinarian. Be sure to always provide clean, fresh water. Wash hands after use.
