Delivers beneficial bacteria to support healthy digestion in dogs. Ideal for dogs with diarrhea, bad gas, bad breath, or other digestive tract problems. It contains "good bacteria" from the natural cultures of lactobacillus (the same bacteria found in yogurt). Also contains yucca, papaya and the antioxidant Vitamin C. Dairy-free. Suggested Daily Use: Mix into food or directly into mouth with an oral syringe. Puppies: 2 tsp. per meal; Adult dogs: 4 tsp. per meal.

Chewy, our 13 year old Shih-Tzu, has been diagnosed with pancreatic problems, although the blood work appears that it is very mild. This only seems to flare up in the winter months. She also has food allergies so is on Rx diet. This winter, nothing helped. She seemed to be in constant pain, hunched up, depressed, tail down between her legs and nothing was helping. One day, when I picked her up, I finally figured out part of the problem was she had gas (no odor, just the noise). I did some research and found that non fat plain yogurt is supposed to help. Tried that and didn't see any improvement. Then I came to Drs. Foster & Smith website for help and found the Acidophilus. It has helped her a great deal. She, for the most part, is her old self again. We've been able to take her off the Rx diet and go back to our home made diet. Just as a test, I put her back on the Rx diet for a day and she didn't want to eat it. She ate a bit of it and was in pain again and had diarehha. I put her back on the home made diet with the acidophilus and she was fine again. So, WE SWEAR by this stuff!

I was having a lot of trouble with my 7-year-old Boxer. He was vomiting intermittently for no reason and then had a terrible bout of diarrhea. I took him to the veterinarian where they conducted numerous tests, took x-rays of his abdomen and checked his stool for parasites. Everything came up negative. I took him home with no idea of how to help him. Then my sister suggested trying a remedy targeting the digestive track. I did a little research and tried several products. Acidophilus+ was the first one I tried and I have come back to it because it has solved my dog's problem. I wish I had tried this product first instead of putting my dog through all that unnecessary testing, not to mention the high cost!

This works, I promise. I have a Bassett Hound named Daisie and when she gets sick or starts throwing up, I give her some of this and it will work. She will get better and stop throwing up.

We had just gotten a rescue dog. We expected some health problems but the endless diarehhea without any known causes (such as worms, giardea, etc) was creating enormous stress for our family. Coming home after a hard day of work only to have to bath a dog who sat in diarehhea all day was no way to live. We tried putting him in the bathroom and he chewed up the floor. Poor little fella. Certain anti-biotics had a soothing effect, and stopped the diarehhea but had long-term neurological risks. As soon as we took him off the anti-biotic, the diarehhea returned, put him back on, it stopped. We tried calming agents to no effect. We were at our wits end. This product ended the problem, what a relief. I doubt we'll ever take him off this! We keep our sanity, our boy keeps his health! Everyone is a lot happier!!!

Ever since I adopted my Pekenese/ Aussie mix puppy, he has had problems with diarrhea. For no reasons known, he would have solid and then within an hour or two he had uncontrolable diarrhea. I took him to the vet and he did have worms the first time I went so he got treatment but no improvement. Then I went back and did additional tests and nothing seemed to be wrong. Bailey, our 7 year old Collie, suffered from gastric distress. It was a predictable pattern - she would refuse her food, eat grass, vomit, then hve diarrhea.
