Good Product
Stays flexible for a long time. Doesn't bond to connectors as some tubing does. Nice green color.

Worth the extra buck or ten...
I run the 1" ID (25/34) Eheim Green tubing from my overflow box to my sump inlet, and from my Quiet One submersible sump return pump to the return head in my display tank. (90G Display, 40G Sump)
I originally bought this stuff because it had been suggested to me that because it is from an aquatics company, that it would have less chemicals to leech out into my system.
I think just from the lack of "new vinyl" smell versus generic clear PVC you'd get from the hardware store -- not that this product doesn't have ANY odor new, but it is a heck of a lot less than new generic clear stuff. That has to be a good thing.
Then there were the advantages that I wasn't immediately aware of, that I came to appreciate:
- THICK WALLED - wiil not collapse onto itself like the clear hardware store stuff (I have had this on more than one occasion). It also seems that it will not easily puncture.
- FLEXIBLE - amazingly so, given the wall thickness. This helped immensely when I added my filter sock intake, and when I have to change filter socks or move components (like cleaning crud off the return pump). Conforms to needed slight bends/angles to "bump in" from the back of my tank into the stand and sump. The same thing with rigid PVC would be a nightmare and involve 45/90 degree elbows, dropping flow rate and adding to clog/buildup potential.
- LASTS, and Doesn't seem to grow algae -- I have been running this tank with this tubing for about a year and a half, and it is still clear and flexible - I believe no less flexible than the day I got it.

Cool soft tubing
I purchased this to connect to a small clear plastic pipe so I could remove bubble algae. I bought it thinking it would be soft and it was. Can't stand buying tubing that's hard as a rock. Good stuff. I wish I had bought a longer piece though. So if you can, buy it longer than you think you need.
