i have 6 cichlids in my 55 and one is a blood-red parrot bout 3 inches. i bought this food to try and they just didn't like it. The size of the pellet is tiny which is good for the parrot provided it likes the food and will eat it., but the size of the pellet is just to small for any of the others.,--all bout the same size.

Thank you for your question. The German Blue Ram diet would be pellets, made especially for cichlids, live (blackworms, baby brine shrimp and mosquito larva) or frozen (tubifex, rotifers, cyclops, daphnia, brine shrimp) food.
