Vinyl Tubing 5/8" ID Black 50'
Not much to say.
It's tubing. It's black. It isn't leaking. What more is there to say?

does the job
The hose is a little stiff, but worked fine for me. You can soften it with hot water if needed.
Good price, good product.

I ordered 10 feet of this hose. And thats what I got. Perfect fit. As far a vinyl hose goes this works. hmmmmm what else can one say about hose.

Too thick/stiff to be useful!
This tubing is extremely thick-walled and stiff, which has caused me headache after headache.
After install my rena xp3 began to leak at the quick disconnect, I replaced the quick disconnect thinking it was faulty yet I STILL had the leaking problem. I then changed out this tubing and replaced it with a short section of proper Rena tubing--the filter no longer leaks! This stiff tubing puts a strain on the filter hookups causing gaskets to unseat and leak.
This tubing is too thick walled and inflexible to be useful. It likely has 0% silicone content unlike proper aquarium tubing which was designed to be curved and bent; if tubing only went in straight lines wouldn't we all just use PVC? Bending this tubing also tends to cause it to flatten out. Short of boiling it in water and installing it hot I can't think of anything that would get it to finally give up its inherent twisted and flat shape. I did try leaving it out in the sun a few days before install, apparently to no avail.
Also, this tubing was very difficult to install on my hydor in-line filter (built-in clamps) as it was just too big to fit well - most aquarium accessories are made for thin-walled tubing and again this stuff is just too dang thick!
