Fully assembled and constructed of 1" eastern white pine for insulation and durability, this bat house weathers nicely to an attractive silver gray color, which blends in with the outdoor environment. Screen interior has several partitions because bats like narrow spaces and allows for more surface room for roosting bats. Features a rough-sawn surface to encourage bats to cling. Large landing pad and echo-location slot to attract bats. The house is open at the bottom to prevent birds from nesting and eliminates cleaning requirements. Designed for cooler locations and is also suitable for smaller nursing colonies. Made in Maine. 10" x 3" x 20" high.

Mounting Instructions: Decide where you'd like to mount your bat house, then place a nail or screw into the tree, pole, or side of building, so that the head is sticking out 1/4". Hang your bat house by placing the metal hanger on the back over the nail or screw. After the house hangs securely, drive a nail or screw through the bottom.
