This works great so glad we purchased. My dogs breath smells better now that I was able to get the tarter off.

Great product
I bought this scaler in hopes of saving myself the cost of an expensive tooth cleaning at the vet, and saving my dog from having to be out under. When it came I sterilized it and started to work on my dogs teeth. Luckily I have a great dog that just sits there and loves the attention. It too a few minutes to get a hang of it ( angle to scale at, pressure to use, wrist motion ) but once I did the tartar started to flake right off. My dog got antsy after a few minutes, but over the course of two days I was able to hit all his teeth and it looked just as good as the last time he was at the vet for a dental cleaning.
May not be for everyone, it really depends on if your dog will sit through this, but it was the best money I ever spent on a product for my dog.

Great
This makes it very easy to clean my own dog's teeth in the comfort of my own lap. It's very easy and his teeth look fantastic.

Tartar's doom
I purchased the both single and double ended tooth scalers to see if
I could clean my two dogs' teeth. Because of their laid back, trusting natures they tolerated my first time attempts. In 10 minutes (per dog) I was able to scrape off that nasty tartar revealing two beautiful white back teeth, and the gum line which had been red and irritated looking immediately went back to pink. Yea! A few days of this will finish the job, save me considerable time, money AND my dogs won't have to be medicated to have a cleaning done.
