Working great so far.
I bought this pump to keep a hole open in the ice in my 150 gallon garden pond this winter. I live in New York state. So far it's working out great. I did have one set back, when we got 15 inches of snow after Christmas, and the temperature was down in the teen's. The open area started to freeze over. I set a pot of boiling water on the thin area, and melted the hole open. After consulting a local shop owner, we shortened the airline from approx. 18 feet to approx. 4 feet, and took the airstone off the end. We've several days in a row of temperatures in the low teens, which go down to 10 or so at night. The pump has kept a hole about 6 inches in diameter since. Today it's up to 30 degrees, and there is a open area about 2 feet in diameter!

A true work horse of an air pump!
I bought this pump from F&S about 7 years ago. Apart from having to change out the air filter and clean the diaphram of dust on occasion, nothing has needed to be done with this pump. It gives good, consistant air pressure and has run mutliple tanks very effectively. I love the part of the adjustable rheostat that allows you to reduce the amount of air produced, not restrict the amount of air that is released into the tank. Much less wear and tear the mechanics of the pump!!
It's not the quietest of the pumps but if you put it inside a wood cabinet it's more than liveable.
Best pump ever made in my humble opinion!

Great pump
This is one of the best small air pumps on the market. It is truly an industry standard that has remained unchanged for years. To adjust the pressure, you simply adjust the rheostat which increases or decreases the power directly to the pumps diaphragm. This is a great design. The pump also goes up to 7 psi which is fairly high compared to other pumps in a similar price range. Diaphragm on the pump is also replaceable to add new life to the pump if you ever feel a drop in performance.

Works as Advertised
This pump provides plenty of power, even through a six-valve setup which is what I have going. The only thing I didn't anticipate (though maybe I should have) was the sheer noise. I wish that it had cushioned feet or something to maybe make it not so noisy. At present I have it cushioned on a t-shirt and inside a cabinet to keep it as quiet as possible. Other than that, it's a good product.
