Nutritious food also helps wear and clean teeth
Nutritious to eat and great as a nesting material. Timothy & Alfalfa Hay are two of our most versatile products. As a low-energy, high-fiber, nutritious pet food, these two hay types are natural, healthy foods your small pet will love. Plus, the constant chewing needed to break these foods down helps wear and clean your pet's teeth. As a nesting material, each of these different hay types will have your pet believing she's foraging in the wild for materials. Made with no preservatives, colorings, or additives. Two different hay types are available in one of three packaging combinations to satisfy even the most discriminating pet's instincts and palate.
Satisfying your small pet's natural foraging, nesting, and digestive instincts while in captivity is one of the most difficult aspects of owning a furry friend. The Timothy Hay and Alfalfa Mini-Bales can be simply placed in the cage to encourage free-feeding while also making an ideal nesting material your small pet can use at her disposal. The tightly compressed natural Alfalfa Cubes (2" wide by 1-1/2" long by 1-1/2" high) give your pet irresistible, highly nutritious alfalfa in compact blocks that are perfect for nibbling, which also occupies her time and helps prevent boredom.
Alfalfa is for hedgehogs, hamsters, gerbils, mice, rats, or bunnies. Timothy Hay is for guinea pigs, chinchillas, and adult rabbits.

Feeding Your Small Pet Timothy and Alfalfa Hay
Simply place one cube or bale in your small pet's cage as needed. If using as food feed one bale or cube a few times daily, depending on your pet's specific diet. For use as a treat, give one bale or cube once or twice daily. It is also common and safe for your small pet to instinctively use these hay products to build nests and/or line nesting/sleeping boxes.

Timothy hay is one of the best products you can offer your rabbit, guinea pig, chinchilla, or true herbivore small pet. And this is quality stuff!
My first guinea pig didn't care much for the the Timothy Hay cubes, but my second piggy simply loves them! He'll toss one around like a toy and adores nibbling on them. But here's a tip: My piggy enjoys them most fresh from the bag, so I make sure that I keep the bag sealed and give him a "fresh" cube at least once a week.
Timothy Hay and the mini bales of alfalfa are exactly what Degus need to stay healthy on many different levels. They need that ruffage and vegetation. Their teeth are bright orange when healthy. Our Degus love to munch away on both of them. The mini bales are great for keeping their teeth nice and trimmed too! Thanks!!
There is a reason that domestic rabbits are now found in almost as many homes as dogs and cats. Available in a variety of sizes, fur colorations, and breeds, rabbits can make wonderful pets.
Small pet treats can prove invaluable as training motivators or as rewards to positively reinforce good behavior. They are also a fun, inexpensive way to show your rabbit, guinea pig, hamster, gerbil, rat, mouse, chinchilla, or sugar glider.
Dried from a natural, perennial grass, timothy hay is inexpensive and healthy. It aids digestion and helps wear down the constantly growing teeth of rabbits and true herbivores, such as chinchillas and guinea pigs.
