Feeding Schedule: How to introduce a better diet: Combine with your bird's current diet. Once your bird begins eating Nutri-Berries, discontinue the previous seed mix.

Note: Most birds accept Nutri-Berries right away, however, if your bird does not initially eat the Nutri-Berries, flatten them and mix with current diet until accepted. Once your bird is eating the Nutri-Berries, feed your bird as much as will be eaten in a 12-hour period. Let your bird empty the food dish before adding more Nutri-Berries. Ideally your pet bird will be fed twice daily, with the dish being emptied after each meal.

This is Bertie the cockatiel's favorite treat, bar none. If it were up to him, his diet would consist of Nutri-Berries, millet and apple bits, and he'd be a chubby bird. (He gets Exact Organic and fresh veges for daily food) So this is just a Saturday morning treat: I shake the can, he bobs up and down with greedy joy, and two berries magically appear in my hand for gobbling.

To anyone thinking about buying Nutri Berries: don't think, just buy them! You won't regret it. They are the most wonderful treats you can give to your bird. My cockatiel, Gaz, love them so much that I have to give her a set time to eat them, and then take them away from her, because she will try to eat them all! They work great with foraging toys... especially the Mazey Munch! That is Gaz's favorite toy!

Watching my bird eat these is a hoot! She rolls them around the floor and chases them, climbs to the top of her cage and plays 'bombs away', and smashes them against objects until they break and the pieces go flying.
