Much better than the metal clips !!
They work great for holding cuttlebones or any variety of veggies.
Baby carrots, red bell peppers and apple slices.
My parakeets had trouble trying to eat carrots in a dish, or on the cage floor.
They couldn't hold on to actually take a bite, then lost intrest.
Now when the carrot or veggies are held firm, they bite off chunks without difficulty.
I only wish they had a stronger grip.

The metal variety are junk, avoid at all cost.
You can't put them between the cage bars without damaging the paint or bending the bars

good product
These are the only food clip i use for my birds. They wait in line for their millet, and know they can (abuse) the clip (well, as much as a budgie can abuse something), and their yummy millet will still be there till they strip it of seeds. Then they like to perch on the clip--must feel good on their little feet.

these treat holders are perfect
my smaller birds use them over & over to eat carrot sticks & bread & spinach affixed to the cage bars. my african grey likes to destroy them after eating her treat, they are inexpensive enough for me to allow her the priceless joy of doing so.

Love! Love! Love! these.
I use to put my birds lettuce and fruit in a cup attached to the cage and they just wouldn't touch it. Now I attach their veggies and fruit to the clip an they are on it like flies on you know what. I have eight buggies in one cage and I had to put five clips up because they were just fighting to get at the goodies.
