Sturdy, easy to install
Vet suggested I buy a dish that bolted to the cage not hang from the side so the bird could not shake it and spill the food. Dish is solid and can't be shook. But if your bird is smart and is determined you will need to put minimal food in it otherwise it can rake the food out with it's beak.Overall great for food or water at a good price.

Good for not so smart birds
It took my african grey only 2 days to figure out how the locking mechanism worked and he started loosening the bowl and tipping it over. I have not found any other bowl that will outsmart him. After watching me install the bowls, I found him sitting on the side of the bowl looking at the underside lock, he knows how many turns to make and its off.
I wished they worked for me because they are so easy to change out.
He reworks his toys as well.
The vet says he is a genius.

Great crock
Very easy to remove and clean. Attaches to horizontal cage bars very nicely. Great product!

Sturdy, easy to clean
These are perfect for my 2 Amazons, Ringneck & 1 Grey. However, my other Grey not only unscrews them, but chews on the lock on the bowl until he can just tip the bowl off of the holder. He does this within the first day or two of using a new crock. This is always his top priority!
