TetraPond Sludge Reducer

Unique blend of beneficial bacteria and enzymes break down organic pond debris. Formulated to naturally reduce sludge buildup and help improve water clarity. Safe for fish, plants, and people. Ideal for ponds and water gardens with rock or stone bottoms, where accumulated organic debris may be difficult to remove. Use 1 oz for every 1,000 gallons of pond water. 16 ounces treats 16,000 gallons and 40 ounces treats 40,000 gallons.

Easy-dose drop-in Blocks make sludge control as simple as tossing in a tablet! Use one Pond Sludge Reducer Block for each 250 gallons of pond water as directed for new or dirty ponds. 4-pack treats up to 1,000 gallons.

Dosage: Add one level capful (1/4 oz) for every 250 gallons of pond water. Begin treatment in the spring when water temperature reaches 55ºF. Sprinkle this nontoxic powder uniformly on the water's surface along the edges of the pond.

Repeat treatment every 2 weeks throughout the spring, summer, and fall. Stop treatment in late fall and winter when the water temperature is below 55ºF.

For best results:

• Use a fine mesh net or pond vacuum and remove as much debris from the pond bottom before using Sludge Reducer.
• TetraPond Sludge Reducer works best in a pH range of 6.0 to 8.0.
• Provide aeration and keep pumps running 24 hours a day.

Use one Pond Sludge Reducer block for each 250 gallons of pond water every week for one month. After month's end, use once a month to maintain pond.
