I recently relocated to South Carolina, and my dog came down with the worse skin condition I have ever seen. She smelled, and itched like she had fleas,(but she didn't, I treated every month). I was at my wits end on what to do with my furry pekingnese friend. I felt bad, because there was nothing I could do. I took her to some VET, boy was I sorry It cost me $150.00 for him to look at her, gave me some clavamax (too many and too expensive) scraped her skin, and ran tests. He gave us two different meds, and they didn't do a thing..I was really mad and disappointed. I got home looked on the internet at pet stores on line, and ran into several testimonies regarding brewers yeast/garlic. I thought, I may as well try it, I tried every else, what the heck...why not. I purchased the pills, and gave them to the dog, ( I was so afraid, she might get sick or something) but she didn't . Her skin is clearing up like crazy, no more ITCHING, AND THE BREWERS YEAST PILLS DID NOT COST ME $150.00 EITHER. WHAT A GOD SEND. My little beagle, Jersey, was itching horribly at the base of her tail to the point that she was loosing her fur. Desperate to find something that would work outside of having to take her to the vet for them to do tests and give me medication for her that might or might not work, I turned to Dr. Foster & Smith. After doing research, I found that the everyone said the Brewer's Yeast worked better then medication from the vet. Although skeptical, I tried it and I am glad I did. Jersey's fur has grown back nicely, shiny and looking healthier then ever, and only after about 6 weeks! I love this product and Jersey even does tricks to get her daily dose! I would recommend this product to anyone having issues with scratching and hair loss with their pet! It's a charm! |

I just wanted to thank you for such an excellent product. I have two vegetarian rescue dogs. My friend recommended I start supplementing with yeast, so I googled and googled until I found your site and purchased a bottle of 500 regular sized Brewers Yeast tablets. Both my German shepherd and my Chi-mix eat them with ease. No hiding them in a piece of cheese or shoving it down their throats. And I noticed a huge change in their coat quality.
