without this product I would be in big trouble!
Upon installing the first Mag Drive magnet ,the force jammed and and broke the plastic shaft. After a call to customer service at doctor Foster and Smith I had a new Mag drive propeller within 3 days. The service was more than what i expected. I will continue to do whatever business I need to do with Doctors Foster and Smith.

The part works great
It was shipped in a timely manner. The impeller was very easy to replace and the pump is working good as new again but the original one did not last nearly as long as those in the larger pumps.

A fine product
In working with pond pumps for 17 years and often having up to 4 pumps running at the same time for different purposes, I find that these Mag-drive pumps do the job at the best price and energy consumption level. In fact I have yet to find any pump that is more efficient than the models sold here. As far as keeping them going for way more than the three year warranty, I have done so by adding washers to the bottom shaft to lift the impeller, changed the impeller and cover when needed and pretty much just keeping them clean. I believe you can keep these pumps running for at least 10 years with the help from the parts people and a little mechanical ability. Everything else is more expensive to buy and operate.
