No CO2 Injection Needed
Seachem makes some of the best quality water conditioners on the market. I am entirely satisfied with Flourish Excell because it allows me to add CO2 to my tank for the plants without investing in all of the equipment and trouble needed when using standard CO2 injection. It is a great fertilizer when used in conjunction with the other Flourish trace fertilizers.

This is the miracle product!
I spent the past year being frustrated at getting my plants to grow. My system was buy plants, watch them die, buy new plants. I bought a new high powered light. No real change. Then I bought the CO2 system. Some change but not dramatic. Then learned I had to turn off all bubblers while CO2 was running. Once I did that, the plants started growing somewhat. Then I discovered Excel. The change was overnight. I have one plant that you can measure growth by the day. But the real incredible change is the algae is gone. The whole tank is cleaner and more sparkling. Plus, I know you're not going to believe this, but the fish are happier. They're more active and out more. I'm wondering if now that there is plenty of plant life for them to hide in they feel more secure. No idea, but they are definitely more perky. If you have a fresh water aquarium, buy some plants and add Excel. You'll be amazed. It's hard to believe that little capful in a 50 gallon tank could make a difference, but it does. Add two capfuls and the tank will get cloudy. Back off and it clears instantly. Amazing product. Filters remain cleaner as well. I'm just amazed at all the differences in the tank once I started adding Excel.

The best..
I was crazy trying to kill the BBA.. I use everything .. 50 % Water changes
I use bleach, taking everything a part but the week after.... The BBA grow again.. Once I use FLOURISH EXCEL.. in doble amount.. The BBA die in 3 days.. Is been a mont after and I don't see any signal the BBA again.. That was the best product. I'm so happy

A Must-Have for Planted Tanks
I have used Flourish for years, but I was just recently turned on to Excel. I had a hair algae bloom so bad that I tore down my planted tank and swore never to use plants again. About six months later I changed my mind, but ran into the same horrible problem again. This time, I added Excel and stopped the algae in its tracks!
The best thing about Flourish Excel (and many Seachem products) is the extremely small dosage requirement - for my 40 gallon tank, I use less than 1 capful every couple of days. A little goes a long way!
