The Bak-Pak 2

Bak-Pak 2:
External, back-hanging protein skimmer and biological filtration unit. This filter incorporates desirable features like an easy-to-clean intake tube that is designed to prevent algae growth, as well as a new enclosed directional outflow that reduces splash and bubbles in the tank. Just hang the unit behind the aquarium, plug it in, and it goes to work. It's that simple! Designed for tanks up to 60 gallons, but multiple units may be used successfully in larger aquariums. Measures 7-1/2" x 3" x 17-1/2" high.

Bak-Pak 2R+
The Bak-Pak 2R+ is designed for use in reef tanks where low nitrate levels are desirable, so contains no Bio-Bale media. This unit utilizes the same efficient protein skimmer as the Bak-Pak 2, while incorporating a new bubble reducing flow pattern. Measures 7-1/2" x 3" x 17-1/2". (Pump included.)

Dual Bak-Pak 2:
This filter provides complete hang-on filtration that incorporates two protein skimmers, eliminating the need to use two regular Bak-Pak units. Includes a biological filtration chamber in the middle. The biological chamber utilizes CPR's Bio-Bale biological filter media to provide maximum surface area for beneficial bacteria to colonize. Simply hang on Bak-Pak Dual Pak on the back of an aquarium, plug in the rejuvenation venturi powerheads, and enjoy a worry-free operation! 11-1/2" x 3-3/4" x 18" high, for aquariums up to 120 gallons.

Additional Bio-Bales are also available in white, 1 gallon size.
