Discus Bio-Gold 2.82 oz
Good discus food
- Good pellet size for small-medium discus
- Good quality ingredients list, nutrition value of this food is very good on paper analysis
- Discus like it and eat it
- Good food consistency, does not clouds the water
- I would like a bigger pellet size for adult discus

Excellent Staple Food For Discus!
I have a 20+ discus 90g tank and they all love to feed on discus bio gold. I feed discus three times daily twice with this food and ocean nutrition prime flakes and once in while Hikari frozen blood worms. This food is also eaten by bottom feeders like loaches and cory's. Definitely a good buy and IMO better than tetra color bits. Discus needs to fed a high protein meal everyday.

Okay for Discus, Great for everything else
Took a while for my discus to start eating this food, but that's to be expected as they are all picky eaters. What I was really surprised about is how much my rams, angel fish, tetras, and corries loved this stuff. It's ideal for those amazon species as the cichlid gold series always seems too big, floats too long or sinks too fast for everyone to get fed. This stuff slowly floats down, and is small enough for medium sized tetras (rummy nose, cardinal, and black neon) to eat whole. The angelfish and rams spawned after the first feeding which they usually only do after a live feeding. As can be expected with Hikari the quality is excellent

Too small for adult discus
This food is way too small for adult discus. It is the same size as my 1mm cichlid pellets. It just sinks to the bottom right in front of my discus and they act like they don't even see it. I occasionally feed to my africans, cory cats, and loaches but as a discus food it is useless for my fish.
