Nitra-Zorb lowers nitrates
I have invested a lot of money in my freshwater fish - so buy the best products to keep them safe. Nitra-zorb works. My aquarium is overstocked - but all inhabitants are happy. I depend on Nitra-zorb to keep nitrates in check. When my big barbs start yawning at me - I know it is time for a new Nitra-zorb. What is great, is that this product can be recharged (just using aquarium salt in water). I usually re-charge it two times. I stock up and buy three at a time (and share with my son). No one can beat the great prices and service offered by Drs. Foster and Smith.

No aquarist should be without this product.
I've been using Nitra-zorb since my very first aquarium. I was pretty clueless at first. By the time I was familiar with the need to check water quality, my first tank had already cycled through the ammonia and nitrite stages, but showed a nitrate level higher than ideal. Nitra-zorb brought that under control quickly.

dosnt work very good
this product works for a few hours then has to be replaced or recharged. it dosnt work very good unless you want to recharge it every day! sea chem purigen is way better and last for months and removes all the nitrates unlike this product.

A water filtration medium composed of natural and synthetic ion-exchange resins. Selectively removes toxic ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate. Contains no phosphate, will not affect pH, and is compatible with activated carbon. Media, in convenient pouch, can be easily recharged with freshwater aquarium salt. Small 20 gallon size fits easily in Whisper filters. For freshwater use only.
