This is a great buffer for salt water tanks. Comes in a larger size which is amazingly convenient.

This product works as advertised
I have been using Pro Buffer dKH for months. When I first stared using this product I would add it to the aquarium as directed on the bottle. I then got in the habit of adding it to my water change water only. I do weekly water changes with Instant Ocean Reef Crystals and I use RO/DI water. Before I started using this product my Alk was consistently low (around 7). When I started using Pro Buffer dKH in my water change water my Alk would stay around 8 to 9.
The claim that this product maintains Ph at 8.3 is a little weird to me because the Ph in a reef tank naturally fluctuates with the time of day. Other than this, the claims this product makes are accurate and I am happy with it. I have a variety of corals in my tank and they are all flourishing, this product is the only additive I use in my water.

works as advertised
I have three heavily stocked and long standing reef tanks that can have a large drop in carbonate levels over a few days. Daily use of this product keeps the dKH between 9and 11. It works well in its intended role, just seems a bit expensive for some sodium carbonate and bicarbonate.
