I have tried many different methods for removing the green algae on my 90 gallon, from scrapers, buffers, to chemicals. I finally found the Kent Pro-Scraper Short about a year ago and I highly recommend it! I just realized I can replace the blade - wow, I really love it now!!
I have the Kent Pro Scraper that is 1-1/2" wide and it works great in my Nano Cube. Cleans the acrylic wonderfully. Would get a wider model for a larger tank.
Yup, works great on my 90G acrylic. More efficient than the white scrubby pads. Far easier to get right into the corners and I no longer scratch the crap out of the tank when substrate get trapped in the pad.
I was spending at least an hour just cleaning the glass on my customer's 300 gallon aquarium. I decided to try the Kent pro-scraper and wow what a great improvement. i only spent a half an hour and it was so easy. I was delighted. I am delighted with the results.
