PERFECT 20K BULB
These Hamilton 20,000k are a perfect blend of blue with a hint of white giving off a deep water look definitely doesn't need supplementation actinics but they make it even better this bulb reminds me of a phoenix 14k bulb side by side its hard to tell apart I recommend this bulb for the 20k lovers or anyone looking for a "blue" look for their reef and I also get good growth with these better then other 20k bulbs which seem to slow growth overall I give it 5 stars!!!!!!!!!

Excellent Color
I use the Hamilton 250 Watt 14K and WOW - I LOVE the color from this bulb. I have used several different metal halide bulbs but I find this one to be the perfect balance of blue and white light. It draws out a lot of fluorescent color from my corals. My corals have opened up well and are growing more than before. My frogspawn looks great under this bulb. I recommend it.

These bulbs work very well
So far my salt water tank appears to be doing very well with these bulbs. The soft corals appear to be thriving under the new lighting and the tank itself is very brightly lit up. The only drawback is that on start up these bulbs are considerably louder than my old ones. They do quiet down after a while though. Other than that I am very satisfied and would recommend these to someone with a larger tank that needs good penetrating light.
