Maintain ideal temperature in your freshwater or salwater aquarium. Lifegard Aquatics Big Digital Temp Alert features a programmable alarm that alerts you when the temperature is not within an acceptable range. Large face, digital thermometer offers your choice of four alert features. Displays both the aquarium water temperature and room temperature in Fahrenheit.

Alarm will sound and LCD flashes in the following alert modes: High Temp Alert Only (probe), Low Temp Alert Only (probe), Both High and Low Temp Alert (air/room), Both High and Low Temp Alert (probe). Includes 3 ft cord with all plastic probe and suction cup. Measures 4" x 4" x 3/4".

Operating Instructions
Remove sticker from face of thermometer.

To Install Included Battery: Battery Type: AAA. Use fingernail or coin to lift up battery cover and insert battery in direction indicated.

Digital Display Indications:
IN = Air/Room Temperature
OUT = Probe/Water Temperature

Place probe with suction cup inside aquarium or wet/dry filter. Fully submerge probe under water. Do not submerge meter or allow meter to get wet or damage may occur.

To Set Alert:

HIGH TEMP ALERT ONLY (Probe)
Slide "Temp/Alert" switch to "Alert." Press "Alert/Select" button to High Temp alert mode. Press "High Set" button to set desired high temperature point. Press "Alert On/Off" button to activate alert feature. ("Alert" will appear on display.) Slide "Temp/Alert" switch back to "Temp." Alarm sounds and LED light flashes for 5 seconds every minute when temperature is above High temperature set point.
LOW TEMP ALERT ONLY (Probe)
Slide "Temp/Alert" switch to "Alert." Press "Alert/Select" button to Low Temp alert mode. Press "Low Set" button to set desired low temperature point. Press "Alert On/Off" button to activate alert feature ("Alert" will appear on display). Slide "Temp/Alert" switch back to "Temp." Alarm sounds and LED light flashes for 5 seconds every minute when temperature is below Low temperature set point.
BOTH HIGH & LOW TEMP ALERT (Air/Room)
Slide "Temp/Alert" switch to "Alert." Press "Alert/Select" button to High & Low Room temp alert mode. Press "High Set" button to set desired high temperature point. Press "Low Set" button to set desired low temperature point. Press "Alert On/Off" button to activate alert feature ("Alert" will appear on display). Slide "Temp/Alert" switch back to "Temp." Alarm sounds and LED light flashes for 5 seconds every minute when temperature is above High or below the Low set point.
BOTH HIGH & LOW TEMP ALERT (Probe)
Slide "Temp/Alert" switch to "Alert." Press "Alert/Select" button to High & Low Probe temp alert mode. Press "High Set" button to set desired high temperature point. Press "Low Set" button to set desired low temperature point. Press "Alert On/Off" button to activate alert feature ("Alert" will appear on display). Slide "Temp/Alert" switch back to "Temp." Alarm sounds and LED light flashes for 5 seconds every minute when temperature is above High or below the Low set point.

Use with pop-up stand, mount with screws or attach to any surface with pressure sensitive adhesive pad.

Digital Temp Alert 4" x 4" x 3/4" 3 5 3 3

Big Digital Temp - Awesome! Very easy to read, and the temp is very accurate. The only feature I find confusing is that the "Out" temp is actually the water tempurature, while "In" reads the room temp. Thought it would be the other way around, but once you get used to reading it that way, it's not a big deal. Hooks right to your tank, while two probes maintain the tempurature. You can also set up alerts when the temp gets too low or too high! Easy to keep it your sump so it's hidden from view. Great product!! November 24, 2012

ok everything works good but mine is off by about 2 degrees.i confirmed this with 2 other thermometers February 15, 2012

Defective After using this product for less than an hour the digital read out would not even read numbers. It just flashes random lines. I tried a new battery but that wasn't the problem. Returning for a refund. April 3, 2013

Thank you for your question. The probe for the Lifegard Aquatics Big Digital Temp Alert is titanium. However, it is coated with plastic to prevent it from coming in contact with the aquarium water. cmc
