Bene-Bac Gel for Cats

Contains beneficial bacteria for cat digestion in an easy-dose dispenser. Sometimes stressful situations like travel, boarding, showing, or grooming can disrupt your cat's digestion. Bene-Bac contains healthful Lactobacillus acidophilus bacteria, normally found in a healthy digestive tract. Each "click" of the oral-syringe-like dispenser equals one gram of Bene-Bac, which can aid in healthy digestion. For cats of all ages, including newborns. Comes in oral syringe with 15 grams of medication.

Suggested Daily Use: Newborns: 1/2 gram at birth; 1/2 gram on days 3, 5, and 7 and at weaning. Hand-fed orphans increase to 1 gram on days 7, 14, and at introduction to solid food. Maintenance: 1 gram per each 10 lbs of body weight up to 50 lbs.

I highly recommend this product to anyone who hand raises (bottle-baby) kittens. Their little digestive tracts can be so out of whack from trying to nurse from an unhealthy and/or stray mother cat who has not been getting a regular or healthy diet. I learned about this product with the last litter I fostered. After I had already lost two of the five kittens in the litter, I used it for the remaining three. I truly believe it saved their lives!
