As dog chews, helps remove plaque to support good dental health
What dog doesn’t relish a mouth-watering treat? Our popular, full-sized pig ears are roasted for luscious flavor, dried, and sealed, so that they are fresh – with the nutrition preserved – when your dog takes his first bite. Hearty chew treats contain no artificial preservatives. Store in a cool, dry place to preserve freshness. Pick up a pack for your dog and keep a supply on hand to win over visiting canines. Please note that treats should be offered in moderation, not exceeding 10% of the total diet. Premium Pig Ears may stain light-colored carpets, so access to carpeted areas should be restricted.

Chewtime Recommendations: We recommend supervising your dog while he's chewing a rawhide chip or strip and taking away smaller pieces he has chewed off to minimize the extremely rare risks of choking or intestinal blockage.
Will it hurt my dog if he swallows some of the ear?
A.
The pig's ears are completely digestible and meant to be eaten. As with any treat, we recommend supervising your dog while he eats the ears. The pig's ears can be cut into smaller pieces if you are concerned about the size of the ear or try our Pig's Ears Pieces.
The smoked ears could possibly stain lighter colored carpet. The natural pig ears should not cause a problem. However, if you have light-colored carpet and you are concerned, you may want to limit your dog's access to the carpet while eating the ears.
Every dog has a different treat tolerance. As with anything, treats should be given in moderation. Too many treats can add weight to your dog. As a rule, treats should not be more than 10% of your pet's food intake.
When the pig's ears are stored in a cool dry place, they will last for at least six months.

I buy Premium Smoked Pig's Ears on a regular basis for my six-year-old Chow mix. Unlike most dogs, Brasley doesn't care much for "treats" as a rule. But the smoked pig's ears I buy him from your catalog never stay in the house long. I have bought all kinds of brands, but Drs. Foster & Smith's are the best quality.
When my Golden Retriever puppy, Teddy, was younger he used to LOVE pig's ears. We used to buy them from the pet store until I noticed that Teddy looked ill after eating a store bought pig's ear. The veterinarian said that the pig's ears we bought were rancid. I couldn't believe it! After a while I started to order Premium Pig's Ears from your company. Each time they were sent fresh and arrived fresh. They were NEVER rancid. Did Teddy like them? Yes, he LOVED them! Thank you for making Teddy and me happy!
Thank you so very much for your good smelling Premium Pig's Ears! Our 20-month-old, female Rottweiler loves them. Willow, is an extremely active girl; running, jumping, digging, pacing, and playing constantly. Our veterinarian told us to get Willow something to chew on to keep her busy (calm) for a few minutes. She suggested pig's ears. We bought some at our local pet store. Well Willow wouldn't try them, and I didn't blame her; they smelled awful. I decided to order some from your catalog. When the Premium Pig's Ears arrived, Willow went bonkers! She loves them! One pig's ear gives me a good half hour of peace and quiet.
We, as dog owners, love to give treats to our dogs as much as they love to get them. But when you treat your dog, it is important not to just hand them any treat and walk away. Know your dog's eating habits and choose treats appropriately.
