Bottle Bird Toys Large Style: Duck
my dog likes this
I bought the large water bottle toy. My French Brittany Spaniel chewed the head off right away but that did not take away from the purpose of the product. He seems to like the texture and size and will carry it around. It is great for playing fetch. My dog loves to hear the crackles of the bottle when he bites the toy or pushes it with his nose. So far, after about 1 month, (other than the head being chewed off) the rest of the material has held up.

Great for non-chewers
My dogs loved these, unfortunately they like to gut toys and these didn't last long at all. They quickly chewed apart the ropes to get the bottles out, then chewed up the heads. I appreciated that the heads we're stuffed with a grassy natural product rather than the usual polyester fiberfill.

The concept of this product is unique because the way the rope is weaved, it allows my dog to grab onto it and tug hard. The only problem is the way the ends are finished. The ends are held together by twine which once the dog is able to get one end out, the twine becomes loose, allowing the rest of the ends to come out and the toy to unravel. They either need to pass the twine through the ends, then pull it tight so that the rope weave keeps the twine from popping out or add some "leather feathers" to the back of the bird. This would allow the ends to be knotted and a "pocket" created with the feathers and sewn on. This should then keep the bird from unraveling.
If your dog likes to tug, then this might not be the toy for you. However, the toy is great for fetch!

Good durable toy but the sound could be better...
This is a nice durable toy for our beagle. We like the fact that is made from natural & recycled materials. Our dog likes this toy - the only negative is that it only makes any sound when it is squeezed really hard and the sound that it makes does not really attract our dogs's attention.
