Formed from two solid pieces of expanded polystyrene foam, ramp can be configured to fit against most furniture. Removable, washable cover has Cordura sides and bottom. Top is completely covered with black, rubber-like fabric that gives your dog extra grip and stability. Each piece is 16" x 28". Ramp end reaches to 19" high. Weighs 15 lbs. Arrangement:
Both 16" x 28" portions of the ramp detach and have Velcro strips in strategic places so you can configure the ramp in a variety of ways to suit your living situation.
Simply push the two together in a straight line for the Simple Ramp setup. Or push together for a Right Angle access or Left Angle access.

The cover is held securely by self-fastening strips and is made of Cordura on the sides and bottom. The top is completely covered with Slip-Not, a black rubber-like fabric that provides extra grip and stability in wet or dry conditions.

Instructions for Washing:
Simply remove the tough Cordura cover and place in your washer and dryer each time it’s soiled. Do not bleach.

I wish everyone with a senior dog would see this product. It makes it possible for dogs who find steps difficult or painful to use to get up on the couches with the young guys and then get down without injury. We have 4 of our own rescued dogs and also foster older dogs and these ramps get constant use and are still not showing any wear.
The Indoor Ramp is a great product. My older Corgi refused to stay off our bed after we replaced it with a much taller model. Corgis are prone to back injuries and he's also arthritic in his front leg and is not supposed to jump off things. But I could tell he was continuing to do it by the tell-tale body impressions he left on the bedspread during the day! That concerned me because I was afraid he'd injure himself while no one was home. While the ramp makes it much easier for him, the only downside is I guess I'm stuck with furry pillows!
I bought the Drs. Foster & Smith Indoor Ramp recently for my new Shih Tzu puppy. I wanted her to sleep on my bed, only she's too little to jump up, and I don't want her jumping down from such a high surface. I set up the ramp at the end of my bed and my puppy immediately figured out how to use it! She was grinning from ear to ear! Then she decided to learn how to walk down the ramp, which is a little trickier. It took her a few tries, but she did it! Now she zips up and down the ramp all the time, and also likes to sit and lie down on the flat surface in the middle. I'm going to continue using the ramp when she's an adult so her joints will continue to be protected. Abby (my puppy) and I love this ramp!
This is a fabulous product! My six year old Border Collie mix began having issues with his knee. I had purchased another ramp but he refused to use it. I tried this product and was delighted that he accepted it so well. I wish I had seen it before I purchased the other ramp. Although it is described for indoor use, it is the only ramp he will use to get into the SUV. Love it!
This is a fantastic product. I have two
Dachshunds that are prone to back problems. They are quirky dogs and sometimes go around the ramp to jump up on furniture anyway, but I notice when they are tired, they use it. I still keep the ramp there, so they know it's there if needed. Never wait until it is needed, buy this product to prevent the problem!
This is a great product. My basset hound has been using ours for over 7 years and it has really held up. Looks like new and she uses it all the time (many, many, many, many times a day). The non-slip top works great and the cover is very sturdy. It took her a week or two when we first got it to get used to the sounds because the styrofoam in it squeaks (great for the humans because it gives a few second warning before a sneak attack of slurpy kisses is about to happen). I have recommended this product to friends many times. I wish it came in a slightly taller size, 19 inches is a little low for our 30-inch mattress and we didn't have success with the steps. If they ever produce it, I will definitely buy it right away.
