I've seen people post in forums that baking soda is dangerous to rabbits. Supposedly if they ingest it, it will make them sick and kill them. One person said it makes animals vomit and rabbits can't vomit, therefore it kills them. I know you cannot believe everything you read on the internet, and I've found this especially true about rabbit care. For example, I've seen loads of conflicting information on what they can and cannot eat. With these litter boxes, my concern would be that our rabbit might decide to chew it, ingesting the baking soda. We have used a cat sized one and she hasn't chewed it yet, but it's new to her. If Nature's Miracle makes these for rabbits and includes baking soda, I would think the baking soda is safe - plus one reviewer says they are using it and even mentioned that their rabbit has chewed it, apparently with no problems - but again, I'm seeing all over bunny care forums that it is not safe. ???
