Cute small coop but not very weather resistant here in Washington where it rains frequently. I bought mine fully assembled so I didn't have to deal with putting it all together. I've had to make multiple modifications to this coop to keep it together. Wood panels as walls are not very strong. I haven't had a break in but I think a determined critter could get in if it really wanted. The roof is asphalt but the wood underneath is already warping. I will likely have to cover it all with a tarp. Where the next boxes attach there's a gap so if you don't cover with plastic water will leak in. It's not meant to be on the ground. Doors stick & can be very hard to open or close. I built a base for mine to sit on. Over priced.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Coseia JUNK!!! DO NOT BUY!!!
This item is described as solid wood. It is wood but far from solid. The wood is cheap and flimsy. The pre-assembled parts were broken on several pieces. During assembly I had to repair every piece before I could assemble the coop. None of the parts are numbered so several times we had to take time out to identify the correct pieces. There is no way that this flimsy wood structure will keep coons ant coyotes out of the coop. Save your money and go buy 2x4s, plywood, and fencing and build your own. I wish I had. I need a coop and health problems wouldn't allow me to build, I put enough time assembling this junk and won't waste more time tearing it down and repacking,
