We found that if we explicitly followed the directions when using this product that our lawn would show improvement. We started in the fall and when spring came we could see a definite improvement which increased as the season has progressed. The dogs love it as a treat and our routine use is paying off.

We started our dog on the tablets 2 weeks ago. He thinks they are a treat and eats them readily. So far we have noticed an improvement in less lawn-kill. The spots are smaller and less noticeable. Hoping over time they will be completely eliminated.

Rated 4 out of 5 by DobieMon Seems to work for most dogs
I have four dogs and one of them I know has a sensitive stomach. My sensitive boy developed diarrhea after being on the Grass Guard Tablet for one week. Once I took him off the tablets his stool went back to normal. My other three dogs have continued to take the tablets without issue; they have been on them for 3 weeks now. They like the taste; they think it is an extra treat they get every meal time. I think the idea behind the product is that by taking the tablets continuously you would gradually change the dogs' urine to be less harsh. I think it is working. I still have some yellow spots in the yard, but they seem to be less than a month ago. And probably the yellow places are from my boy that is not taking the tablets.

So far my dog will not "willingly" eat the tablets. I have to crush them and put them in his food. The product works fine, but I will try something else when I reorder because I do not want the extra bother of "hiding" something he won't eat willingly in his food. As far as keeping the grass from being burnt.... It works!
